They're turning a huge profit on these cars. If you want a Forester you can buy them dirt cheap on auction.

my bad I read it as 87k.. well then :drunk:

i think you are right. you can see that the license plates are drilled/slotted out to match japanese license plate hole spacing i think

Car has a 14k hit on it. Not necessarily a deal breaker. Something to be aware of. Those Canadian editions are very special cars. Lots of history behind them.

The Producer 04-17-2016 08:44 AM

buyer is honest about that CAD M3 - will send more pics. I was going to go get it, but didn't want to take the trip out there for a car I was not 100% about.

Go check it out in person jasonturbo! - i'd be interested to hear what a boots on the ground assessment is like.

Thread title should be renamed to "Craigslist interesting buys." I see few good buys posted here. Post away though, interesting nonetheless...

^How long have you been watching this thread? There are crazy good buys that people post up, and many new owners here because of it.

I think it's entertaining to have the interesting finds in the mix.

What year is the Tiguan?

Assuming that it uses much of the same running gear as a GTI, the #1 thing I would ask about is the oil consumption. And then it is timing belt / water pump replacement. And then depending on the year, you might also want to look into whether it suffers from the cam follower wear problem (and if it does, whether the worn one has been replaced or not, and if so, when)

2005 Chrysler Crossfire - Must sell soon!

Lots of car for 8k - always liked the look of crossfires, just need to do some de-badging. I think there are some aftermarket front grills that take care of that.

North shore cars always get bonus points too.

i love the look of this mustang...

I test drove a few Crossfires last year and came away with mixed feelings. The interior is very cramped, interior looks and feels really cheap, visibility sucks, and it really lacks cargo space even with the hatchback design.

Performance was decent, though it does feel on the heavy side, and I really like the exterior design.

this. it has a very confused identity. not quite GT car and not quite sports car.

the steering ratio is way too slow for what it is... and feel... there isnt any steering feel!

rides stiff as well, yet doesn't handle that great.... strange car.
