I've been looking for a TSX lately (2006 - 2008), what do you guys think about these two ads? I don't think they are screaming deals, but pretty good?

2008 Acura TSX - 6sp Navigation System
- high km, but price reflects that
- not the best colour combo imho
- winter tires included...but rubber on summers is bad

2008 Acura TSX 6 Speed Manual Navi
- aspec kit
- low km
- best colour combo imho
- higher price

I have a grey 2007 and it cleans up real nice if you prefer the premium look - I get lots of compliments about it (see: http://www.revscene.net/forums/69517...tches-out.html). White is great if you prefer the sportier look.

TSX resale values are kinda crazy IMO - I paid $21,500 for mine 5 1/2 years ago and could sell it for about $12-13K right now.

That said, the white one is the better deal (and a fair price) IMO though you should find out if the suspension is also A-SPEC or not. There's a member who's selling their 2007 which is a real A-SPEC - worth a look, rides an inch lower which makes it look a lot nicer.

tsx are pretty crazy resale value, but there just arent many manual transmission sports sedans to choose from. that said i would probably also consider g35, 330i, or is350 for around that price range

You mean this one:
http://www.revscene.net/forums/70641...-tsx-spec.html

It doesn't come with navigation/backup camera...which I guess isn't a deal breaker for me, but the cost is the same as the 08 with it (and rpm is firm).

G35 = gas pig
330i = maintenance/repairs $$$ (maybe just for me?)
is350 = I don't see many is350 6mt for sale...and wasn't there an issue with their mt on the is250?

These are just my opinions, however. I was also considering the TL, but I only want the type s and they sell for quite high.

You don't see them because is350's were auto only

They never made manual is350, but the extra 100hp helps to make up for it. Every car has its pros and cons obviously. those were all the cars I considered when I was looking. Tsx definitely has the fuel economy and Honda reliability, but also 2 less cylinders. I also looked at jetta gli and audi a4, I think that rounds out the $12k> 10yo> sports sedan category

Yeah, that's the one. Unless I'm sorely mistaken there's no backup camera for 1G TSXs with nav (my FIL has an 06/Nav that has no backup camera). In any case the nav sucks (like pretty much every Honda nav system) but I suppose for the same price it's worth it.

Good luck with the hunt, I wish there were so many manual TSXs up for sale back when I was shopping.

So much this. I get they're special cars, but it's insane what people want for them. 2011 1M with 70km or like an 08 Carerra S. I know what i'd pick...
