westopher approved?

I've seen it many times in north van (unless it's not the same car)

Looks like a good deal

EDIT - ya it's the same one - people think I'm this guy all the time. I've been asked why I'm driving "Ryan's car"

snowfarmer 05-14-2016 08:14 PM

And the ad's been edited with a higher price, $9,999 now. Wasn't it $7,999 when it was posted a few hours ago?

Pretty cheap for a cobra replica. I guess it all depends on craftsmanship of the build.

Whats the price of a new kit? Personally I'd buy that, then take it all apart and put it all back together again so you know everything is correct.

snowfarmer 05-15-2016 11:38 AM

If it's real, that is a bargain!

wonder if the front half was sourced from those wireless phones stores.... (like the one at metro) :troll:

320icar 05-15-2016 11:51 AM

I emailed out of curiosity. So many questions, like...

- built by a shop or a DIY garage job
- what kit is it
- was it built with a donor car or new parts used
- mileage on vehicle? Motor?
- is it a us or Canadian car

Hope he gets back, I'm genuinely interested (if I can secure garage space)

That ERIC guy on CL is a savage with his ads. Literally tags everything in them, getting hard to sort through anything relevant. Lets all call him..

Good daily?

FS: Saab 9-2x AWD Turbo Manual Wagon like WRX STI

Think I may have posted this some time back but I went to test drive it today and it's great but probably not for me (didn't realize WRX controls are so heavy - I'm used Mazda/Honda controls). Owner is a good guy and has taken really nice care of the car and done all the work professionally. Only demerit is that he's running performance winters as he sold his STI BBS summer wheels. Priced fairly IMO.

2007 BMW 335i, 6 cyl, bi-turbo, 300hp, $11,500 ... seems like a lot of car for that price point. There are a few in that range.

Think about it tho, as it goes for any vehicle with a plummeting price, maybe there is a reason why there are a few in that range... Something must not be reliable or they must have problems... In this case they're just expensive as shit to fix when the motors go, and that's not uncommon at all for the 335

!Aznboi128 05-16-2016 11:12 AM

2007 is 1st generation of the 335i, that engine is prone to have problems, my co worker got one a year and half ago so far he has put $15k in to it just to maintain it. Luckily he got it certified pre owned so it was covered, but it can get pricy.

so far he has gone through fuel pumps, injectors, ecu, coil packs.

vitaminG 05-16-2016 11:12 AM

^ non sports package and unknown kms, could be 200k + on it. decent 07s usually go for 15k. i think the only real significant problem with them is they burn through fuel pumps

Galactic_Phantom 05-16-2016 11:34 AM

The 335 is from an E. Hastings dealership. Would not touch with a 10 ft pole

edit* i thought Canadian models don't have an amplifier? At least e46 3 series don't (only US came with an amp).

tofu1413 05-16-2016 05:18 PM

higher spec cars tend to have them sitting in the trunk
