1999 Honda Prelude Crystal Metallic Blue

Price seems a bit tad but looks clean with a record of maintenance.

2003 Honda Accord

Thoughts on this Accord?

I found a used engine 2 years ago for $700 and swapped it in for $500 labour... If that helps as a reference. This was on a RSX but it's the same chassis / motor.

RE: Accord
Quite expensive for the most undesirable combination (Pre Refresh + Coupe + 4 Cyl + Manual).

I'm 95% certain I kind of know this car. I have family living in that area, and this car catches my eye every time I go there because I have a soft spot for these -- esp when they're white.

The shell of the car is not in the best condition -- there is dirt / grime type of thing lightly covering some of the panels, and I have only usually seen them on cars that have been parked outdoors and not moved for extended periods of time. I can't say whether the car has been moved / driven on a regular basis, but for at least the last few times when I go visit family there, that EP3 is always parked in what appears to me is the exact same position as I have seen the previous time.

i have tried selling it for 6 months @ a similar price with no luck. unless you want to buy mine?

so with more than triple the KM's. and most likely more than 3 owners. i do not think it is a good deal. i have seen high km's ep3 in the 4 range.

if you are doing a swap, i think you should go all out for a k20a2 or a k24. you are already paying the labor . k24's are significantly cheaper than the k20a2's.

Westopher posted this Type R before when it was on Ebay. Seller has dropped his price to $8500 USD ($11,000 CAD) Pretty interesting for a daily or track rat.

The rebuilt title due to theft seems a bit fishy to me -- back in 2001, this 1998 car is still very, very new. It would take a LOT of damage to turn it into a rebuilt at that point in time.

There is no denying that the car looks mint though, both inside and out.

Damn... So much want, but not enough $$$ nor parking space.

Engine, interior, wheels = toast

The Prelude is very clean, I checked it out in person
I was going to buy it, but I got my IS350 instead. I think I might have the CarProof for the Prelude, if anyone is still seriously interested

edit: So I found the Carproof, the car is in good shape. No accidents/issues over $900. PM me if you want the Carproof

+1

client had his three year old S4 stripped of interior and rims.... car was written off.

white rocket 05-27-2016 04:15 PM

Not surprising about the ITR being written off from theft. The seats, engine, wheels, etc would have been $15K back in 2001 from the dealer.

The real questions is whether it has had any collisions that are over and above the theft salvage title. I'm sure a CarProof would be able to tell. A major collision will kill the chassis and the chassis is what makes the car so spectacular.

FS: Saab 9-2x AWD Turbo Manual Wagon like WRX STI

Price got lowered - very good deal IMO. Not sure why it hasn't been picked up - car is clean and owner is an enthusiast who takes care of it.

This one has been for sale for over a year. I saw the ad when I bought my Saab 9-2x in winter 2013/2014.

bcuzracecarz 05-28-2016 10:25 PM

That saab, I'd love to get an exact number of times it has been posted in here. Gotta be at least 5 by now
