The car in the picture also appears to be an out-of-province car since it doesn't have a front plate.

pic isnt even a 2011.

who's gonna call them? :fullofwin:

:sweetjesus:

I think this is the one that's been out at turn3 for a while.

Super cool car, needed a good wash but I heard it was a very good runner for a reputable source (if it's the same car)

Would have bought this in a heartbeat but two things stopped me

1.) I'm out of the car game for now PJSalt

2.) LT1 is a garbage motor. At 270k, better hope OptiSpark was already dealt with (even though it can fail again). Needs an LS swap for sure.

found it on through google image search on pinterest 99.99% fake

Based on the spoke pattern, it's a 323i; has the shittier and smaller rims. The 328 has nicer and larger rims.

RED FLAG

Also has the black roof rails, which only the 323i has. Sketch

a CL seller used a fake pic in an ad? :Orly:

call the number (which in itself is a better marker than the pic for realness) , it's legit or it isn't.

emailed and asked if any valve work has been done and it has not.
poked around online and apparently all these motors over 100k have valve seal issues.
8-12k to get it fixed :lawl:

You know, I've been thinking of buying a Euro for a while now. C63, SL55, M3/M5, M6, or maybe a couple year old Porsche. You know, if the prices hadn't gone crazy and all that... truth is, I miss having a powerful, standard transmission car with all the modern day accoutrements.

I'm coming to to a big age milestone, and wanted to celebrate my mid life crisis with some class. Posting these links is making that seem like a better idea every day.

If the finances work, go for it! Especially if you enjoy a large displacement naturally aspirated car, I can't stop thinking how those will be nearly extinct (at least as new cars) in a mere few years.

Are you ready for the maintenance costs that come with Euro cars? ;)

westopher 06-02-2016 04:48 PM

The Canadian dollar is worth 8 cents, we live in Vancouver...... Everything is expensive.
Enjoy life. I'd rather have a bunch of cool shit than a high number on my online banking app. If you can afford it without stressing, enjoy it.

1993 Ferrari 512 TR Outstanding Condition

Indeed, everything is expensive. Sometimes I feel like I'm dealing with Bangladesh Taka and not Canadian Dollars...

Can't you buy good running SR swaps for a couple G's?

I'd buy that as a core. Let's say decent dollar for the transmission and a few hundred for the motor. Would that be a 6 speed tranny or more likely a 5 speed from a 240x?

westopher 06-02-2016 06:34 PM

Not sure if its a good buy, but holy fuck look at this gem of a photo.

69 camaro rs pro touring

On another note, if anyone sees a 70s/80s volvo or merc wagon, my wife wants a car, and I want something I can put a set of BBS RS's on.
