it's Canadian Used Car Values

I don't always find it too accurate though. It values my '01 S2000 with 118,000 kms at $11,925 which I think is too low.
The Accord I have in mind is valued at $20,511, also on the low side.

I agree, it says my '14 ST at 23k but they regularly are still sold are 27k on Craigslist (not a single 2014 for sale currently tho)

High mileage, but otherwise a decent price at less than $17k:
Used 2013 Acura ILX for Sale in Richmond BC | OpenRoad Lexus Richmond

It values the car based on what it is, ignoring fanboys overpaying for things. You also have to add 6% since it's a BC vehicle (per the link at the bottom of the VMR page).

normal mainstream cars only seem to work for VMR.

hotter cars are much higher value in the market (S2000, STi, Focus ST, BMW M3's) and I usually tell my customers, the hot cars are horribly under valued on Canadian blackbook.

noooo, that's when you tell them Blackbook values your 2005 M3 at $9,000, so that's what we're offering.

2002 BMW M3 - Manual - Coilovers - Convertible

i went to check this out in person. This car has rust on the rear trunk, and rear fender wells. It is a "clean" title with a couple claims (all under 6000). The side bolster on the drivers seat is taped up with red masking tape lol.
Comes with coilovers, but seems beat, some rattles here and there. Exhaust is definitely aftermarket, but can't make out the brand.
Engine sounds healthy, clutch seems solid after the test drive.
The rust was bubbling and is definitely something that needs to be addressed if you do pick up this car.

they just became eligible this year. not surprised theyre popular its one of the coolest cars that was never sold in canada.

even usdm evo 8/9 are holding their value well, and those obviously arent getting any cheaper for canadians.

Clutch? Rust? Head gasket? Burning oil?

^Pretty much all of the above. Check the trans for noises, grinds, popping out of gear. Would also do a compression and leak down test + cat might be clogged if it hasn't been replaced.

I've seen three EP3s and they all had rusty sunroof window frames. Rusted through!

Check for rust in spare tire well on the inside too.

I'd only import one myself, not buy one already landed. I think there's a few companies that can pull up the mileage and records from when it was in Japan for a reasonable price though.

Yup. Priced cheap for a reason.
