I understand it's a timing chain, so no worries there.

Clutch? Rust? Head gasket? Burning oil?

I've had mine for 2 1/2 years and it's extremely reliable. The O2 sensors tend to go and that's about all that I've heard ever goes wrong with them. Mine will be for sale soon. It's a white 2004 with 120,000 kms and has the body kit.

check the power door locks - the actuator going is common. both of mine went around 60 k

check the SRS, it will often go on , usually related to a seatbelt buckle

check the roof rails ( 2 black things on then roof) . they often get loose and get sludged with dirt

it has been my most reliable car ever. i owned it since new and it is still running on its original battery/ brakes since new.

westopher 06-28-2016 09:21 PM

Lol that is 90% of cars in the Gvrd. Doesn't mean it's good, but it's definitely the norm.

They can be expensive as hell too, the seatbelt buckles are common on the CRV's and ~$500 each.

I can't trust anyone who has one of their ad pics as a snapchat

fliptuner 06-29-2016 03:16 PM

Why not just call the guy? His number's in the ad.

BrokenEuro 06-29-2016 03:29 PM

Didn't someone from RS pick this one up? If so, looks like he's selling it for a hefty amount more than asking price.

I live on the island. it has less than 80k. im sure i wouldn't need to replace the tires if they dont get punctured too.

i am lucky, no 02 sensors going yet

if you care about the stock audio, the HU and speakers go wonky too.

snowfarmer 06-29-2016 04:26 PM

That seems WAY too cheap for an R33GTR? No?
