Not sure if this is really that good of a deal but from my understanding this is supposed to be like the M3 rival ?

" 68,412 KM" and "have passed tons of cars and get up to 200kph no problem. Awesome mileage 24/34mph." O.O

tofu1413 08-01-2014 11:59 PM

sadly automatic or itd be sold by now

5 speeds came with a dog leg gear box. Cosworth built motor from factory... pretty awesome stuff.

hud 91gt 08-02-2014 08:14 AM

I still love it. It's been posted in this thread 2 or three times now.

westopher 08-02-2014 09:47 AM

Cant believe it hasn't been sold. Even if a 5 speed swap cost you 5k somehow you'd still come out on top.

Lomac 08-02-2014 10:09 AM

I considered buying that Cosworth a little while back and toying with a manual swap. I'm quite sad that I didn't end up pulling the trigger on it back then, and now I don't have the space to do a project like that.

Still, it's tempting to pick up, even if it's just an automatic. I love those 190e Cosworths...

multicartual 08-02-2014 10:26 AM

I bet that engine would be a nightmare to maintain!

Now, a 302 and a T5 swap on the other hand...

That wasn't an attempt to post your own ad now, was it? I certainly hope not, as that's not the point of this thread...

You linked to your manage page. What a fucking failure of a post.

Also, didn't you spam your Mazda 3 not too long ago? Did you pick this one up and grow tired of it already?

the premium he asking for is justified simply due to the fact the color is the most desirable color for BMW. Was reading on Bimmer forum that last 4-5 years in a row white is most popular BMW color buyers choosed.

I'm not saying it's a steal or wicked crazy deal but its not a ripoff. The market for E30's are right now insane so its basically comes to supply and demand. The car just needs the right buyer to come along and it will be sold.

Maybe its just me but I go crazy for white cars and I would pay more for the color I want instead of settling for a cheaper car with a color I hate.

dared3vil0 08-02-2014 07:54 PM

I truly don't know what these go for, but it appears to be a decent buy...

Perhaps you need to reread my post. I said it can be found in the most desirable colours for low to mid 40s. Anyone who knows anything about BMWs would know I'm referring to alpine as one of those, although the m3 didn't really come in any undesirable colours back then. Even lachsilber looks good on the e30.

Ronin 08-02-2014 11:52 PM

Even if the KMs are low, what's with the mismatched wing, $10 tint job and...oh god, those tail lights...

It better at least be a smoking deal because your "mods" have ruined a perfectly good Subaru

I guess we don't have an attempted spamming rule but I'm just going to go ahead and give you points anyways. Because everything about that post is against everything this thread is about.

It seems that you don't know much about the E30 market and most cars in general.

Stop misinforming and spreading false facts please.

Always loved the look of the 850i, totally timeless. I have a thing for popup headlights. And nice low mileage.

But part of the reason for the low price on that car would be the colour, and the auto shifter. It's a nasty 90s green colour, and why own a BMW v12 auto? Kinda pointless.

Also heard those v12's are money pits, as one could imagine.
