I know it says rust free but that bodywork scares me, could be alright if you had a motor and tranny lined up tho. Feel like he's trying to cash in on the Datsun bubble

Talk about rare. Never seen one before. Never even new Jag made a wagon.

There's a good reason it's rare... X-Type is well named = stay away type.

One of the worst Ford created POS ever produced by Jaguar. No old Ford-era Jaguars should be anywhere near this thread.

I thought Mondeos were pretty decent for its era. Wonder why the X Type is such a bag of shxt...

flagella 07-15-2016 04:47 PM

People seem to be posting every single one of these so-called "rare wagons".

Yeah that is fishy..that car had been posted and reposted so many times with varying prices. Lowest was 12500 I think. Didn't save it

Take decent car, build it in England to significantly less than "Job1" standards and this is what you have...

The platform is actually great for its era.

Would love to import one someday if the dollar hits parity and do a conversion to a 6 speed (or drop the v6 in there).

Yeah I've seen the white one a few times couple months back around King George/HWY10

That 240 is priced quite high I'd say. Ugly outdated body kit and non running engine?

Good luck. Maybe 4-5g's to some sucker lol.

If you're going to curb a car, at least wait til the old ad is gone.

1987 Buick Regal t-type

Could be a good buy if the title is actually CLEAN

I noticed on some CL ads, the owner will indicate the title as rebuilt but will talk about the rebuilt motor, transmission, rear end etc. which makes me wonder if they are confused as to what a Rebuilt Title actually means?

This could be one of those but who knows? Worth a look.

I will never trust s2k ads anymore lol or any car ad for that matter if they dont have pics with local plates on it. With how easy it is nowadays to just snap a few pics and email it to yourself to post to the ad, there should be no excuses.

I sold my S2K last week on Craigslist with no pictures. Someone got to buy my mint S2K by being the first person to email me before I had the chance to post pics. I had several people who offered me full asking price just by posting a detailed and honest description of the car at a fair price. No pictures needed :) Sometimes you just have to take a chance.
