fun fact: ford uses biodegradable wiring looms in their cars, including the mustang.

how do i know this? because mice try to eat mine, and the service rep told me it's because of the high soy content ford puts into the plastic to help them recycle/biodegrade.

bon appetit

I don't know how much wood you plan to haul, but I would imagine those kei trucks aren't going to handle a lot.

Electronics should be fine.

How much weight can a kei truck realistically haul? My electronic is not light. Couple hundred pounds at least. As for wood most likely be use for ikea Rans, nothing heavy duty. More worry about being able to handle my electronics

not sure about the price, but does something like this work for you?

1994 Nissan Pickup Truck - $5000 (Mission) 1994 Nissan Pickup Truck

2000 Ford Ranger 2WD - $4500 (Langley City) https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/cto/5680851777.html

this is what a 8FT box will get you... good luck trying to park it

1989 GMC 3500 Great work truck - $3000 (Vancouver) https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/cto/5638385534.html

That Chevy is actually a pretty good deal if it runs well and since it includes the canopy. You're not going to find an 8' bed in anything much smaller.

Nah, not that bad. I drive a dually and 5t's on a regular basis. Just need to assess the situation better, prior to parking.

It's the honda way dealership in Abby. The owner has a few honda S2Ks he brings them all in from the states and sells them on his lot. Apparently he's an S2000 fan so those prices will be firm from what one salesman told me.. he's also got the yellow Comptech supercharged one that's been for sale for a few years too. I went to check that one out, just can't fathom dumping 27k on a car where they have barely any knowledge about

I'm getting really annoyed by the number of "interested" buyers wasting my time on the NSX, first RS member to cough up 55K CAD can have the NSX.

I don't have time to be a used car salesman, @55K CAD don't ask me to drag it over to Acura for a PPI, it's not going to happen. You can come drive it and throw it up on a hoist if you like.

Don't forget the car is located in EDMONTON - I can have it shipped enclosed for around 1K.

hey threezero this one just showed up. looks clean? seems to meet most if not all your needs:

2001 GMC Sierra V8 RWD - $3500 https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/cto/5689967494.html

Quote:
Low original kilometres, body is pewter colour, brand new tires, full 8ft box with liner and canopy, custom boat rack made of 3 inch steel tubing, trailer hitch, manual windows and door locks, A/C, 4.8L V8 RWD

despite having driven fleet trucks for work in another life, i honestly don't know anything about them. i briefly drove an ex-bc hydro 2wd shortbox base v6 (until a moron co-worker totaled it) like this one and it was okay. hated the plastic/vinyl everything in the cab but it's a work truck. it was not great on gas for a v6, not sure what it's like with a v8.

if you do look at this one, be sure to look under those chrome flares for rust.

^ look clean and the price is right. However the gas consumption on that thing scares me. Honestly I don't always the carry the poles. When I do I don't mind it sticking out the canopy. I rather have a smaller trucks or van that eat less gas and can fit better in tight spaces.

Really really interested in the mini trucks the more I read up on it. Only thing holding me back is the price.

There is also the option of mini vans but I'm trying really hard to avoid that

325i, no sport pack, no leather, no muffler and $7900? youd have to be on glue to pay that much just cause it comes prestanced.

all it has going for it are nice rotiform reps and unnamed coilovers.
