Very nice car indeed but I'd prefer it in RWD vs "x" drive (less stuff to break considering there's no warranty remaining).
As such I don't thing he'll get asking price. Maybe a few grand less

Don't know much about these Porches but looks like a good example

1981 Porsche 924

924's are considered the ugliest Porsches ever made, and "the poor man's Porsche" They used a VW truck engine, hence why people would call Porsches "VW's", because it basically was.

You'd have to really be in love with the aesthetics of a 924, and if you were to buy one, look out for a 924S, the later models, as they used the exact same engine as the 944, but the car was lighter so technically faster.

But then you're opting for the same car with no flared wheel arches and those big DOT bicycle reflectors. And in 1986 you could get the 944 with the much more modern interior. The 924 and early 944 interior is nasty and old.

And remember, "there's nothing more expensive than a cheap Porsche."

A ZENKI S14 with a 350k KA24DE for $5200 is a good deal?!

Car should be worth $3500 IMHO, with the wheels.

I've seen the car around, and it's worth closer to your number than the asking price. Shit-ton of miles on it too.

fuuuuuu I emailed his old ad before i bought my CLS, and he never replied. I have a feeling it might be a fake ad..but if not, seems like a solid deal if everything checks out!

snowfarmer 07-27-2016 01:00 PM

That car was listed for quite a bit more than that a while ago. I guess they want rid of it, that is a smoking deal for that car with those low km!

Still take a pretty brave buyer to buy an out of warranty AMG car....

Yea I'm seriously considering this, but I really dont have the guts to take this gamble. Although nothing much can go wrong with that low mileage...right? haha

Mr.Money 07-27-2016 03:50 PM

wouldn't be surprised if there is no maintenance records & first one done at 40,000 km for its first oil change :heckno:

zilley 07-27-2016 03:56 PM

i think the e55 is a fake ad, i ve emailed it before and no replies as well.

vitaminG 07-27-2016 06:05 PM

Ya I emailed that e55 couple weeks ago when it was 20k. Then it was gone for a while and now it's 14k all of a sudden.

Def fake, if it was real he would have replied to people at 20k

richardmozis 07-27-2016 07:19 PM

It's fake. That's at least 6k below its value....
