The 2 verticle vents in the front fenders means it is a regular vet.
ZR-1's have 4 horizontal vents.

hmmm wonder if legit.

I may be wrong, but that looks like it may be a fellow RS'ers car.

Damn it. I think you are right. Looks like 92 was the first year for the horizontal vents.

I know where I am going after work.

That's too bad, they made 3000 of them in 1990, but still eligible for collector plates.

GS8 07-30-2016 08:58 AM

1990 was the first year of the ZR1 so it still had the old C4 design. 1991 was the first year of the C4's refresh, hence the style changes. The square taillights were supposed to be unique to the ZR1 but GM went GM and included them in the refresh for all C4s.

Also, the VIN on the window sticker would certainly match the one on the dash, otherwise it wouldn't be included in the ad.

Speaking of the ZR1

Shameless plug here: 2007 Acura Type S Nighthawk Black Pearl

It's my car and will be on sale for a week before it heads to the dealership. I think I've priced it competitively compared to other ads on CL. I've also seen a couple of other TL Type-S posted in this thread, and priced mine below them.

Bit of a side bar, but on the subject of the Porsche bubble popping, there are now 14 GT4's for sale in Canada, and the prices are seemingly creeping down.

All the cars I'm watching for seem to be losing value or sitting on the market, I think by winter 2017 there will be plenty of bargains around... maybe wait a bit if you're hunting for something desirable.

More of a side note. Saw an Orange GT3RS on the way home. I don't know how special they are, but I think it's pretty special lol.

Maybe this was it.

I must be totally out of loop. They make GT3RS in automatic now...? :heckno:

TouringTeg 07-30-2016 06:35 PM

^ Yep PDK only for now. That's part of the reason there was big demand for the manual GT4.
