I beg to differ. Anything over 80km/h and I think the front bumper would fall off.

lol my first car was an MX-6

pretty much had every issue under the sun, it was almost comical how after fixing one thing, another thing would immediately come up

hated doing the brakes on it...huge pain in the ass

^that's pretty amazing... Except for the fact it has seen the road for 59kms and all the rubber exterior seals and engine bay hoses have that white buildup rubber gets when it's unused all over them.

Looking to sell my Honda Fit. I bought this car brand new for commuting purposes, but ended up getting transferred closer to home right after the purchase. I'm a Honda enthusiast and did a bunch of tasteful mods to the car. Its super nice, and needs to go to the right home. Never seen the snow, no door dings, no accidents. The car pretty much sits in an underground and rarely gets driven. It's virtually brand new. I love this car so much, and had major plans for it. But 2 cars doesn't make sense for us right now. It's time to let it go

Me thinks the asking price is a touch on the high side, although some negotiations / bargaining might be able to correct that. IMO, the mods aren't particularly special, and he would have been better off parting those out on his own. For a Kelowna car, I would also be very skeptical that it hasn't seen snow.

2014 with 19k on it? Pretty easy for it to have not seen snow, the snow in town has been minimal the last few years. Either way it's not the snow that hurts the cars, it's the salt (which we don't use) and not washing it in the winter, the snow itself is just water that melts off.

1989 Volvo 240 Manual Turbo Wagon - $3200 (Kitsilano) https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/cto/5691527659.html

Quote:
1989 Volvo 240+Turbo Manual Wagon.

I've owned it for 7 years and its gone from stock to rally spec to lowered street turbo specification, its been a fun car, but its time for a new owner with enthusiasm to continue this project.
Local Canadian buyer would be prefered

The car is in a very daily drivable state, I drive it every day, its got a few things that will need attention in the future, and some general things that need tidy up, I've just kinda lost interest in the car and would like it to go to a good home.

Here is a general overview
'89 LH 2.4+T
-293,000km
-Factory manual transmission
-Stock 90+ 740T ECU, EZK
-13psi manual boost controller
-90+ manifold, 13c turbo
-later style center inlet/out intercooler
-850 turbo injectors
-Cut ipd springs, ride is decent, great backroad driver
-Koni yellow adjustables all 4 corners
-Truetrac LSD in rear end
-Two front stock sway bars in front, stock rear in rear
-Modified M47 short shifter
-960 lighted window switches
-Virgo rims with yokohama S.Drive tires(need to be replaced soon)
-10mm spacer front(extended lug studs)
-25mm spacer rear
-Stock looking boost gauge in instrument panel, looks stock
-Hella 700FF rally lights
-newish stock NA clutch, turbo clutch would be a good idea for more boost, its kinda clutch slips if boost is turned up more
-stock and working tape/radio(for cassette phone adaptor)
-Factory no AC car
-almost all bushings have been replaced with stock OE rubber(except front trailing arm bushings, got some in a bag waiting to be installed)
-front brake rubber lines replaced recently
-brakes recently replaced all 4 corner(brembo rotors, good pads)
-black cloth interior, super minor wear on driver's seat bolster, but great everywhere else
-a few boxes of spare parts to go with car
-spare rims/bumpers if you want them
-1 super minor spot of rust under floor(like loonie sized)
-1 can't even see rust spot below left rear taillight
-uncommon power aftermarket sunroof(dealer installed in '90) works great, sunshade track is a bit off, not an issue really.
-oil changes every 5000km, I check what needs attention very often, what needs replacement gets replaced
-replaced all coolant hoses a while back
-new blower motor a while back, heater core is original, no signs of failure, heater burns my hands its soo hot.
-got a box of stuff to be installed still, new waterpump, rebuilt 13c turbo, lots of stuff
-too much I can't remember everything, best you see the car in person

Issues at the moment:
-Needs tires
-has high idle issue after extended periods of boost, likely due to no speedo signal at idle, but speedo works, so I'm not sure. have manual throttle body and spare speedo sensor to go with car if you want to try that
-rear diff makes a bit of noise it has new bearings, possibly the backlash isn't set correctly, but I haven't had any issues
-left rear taillight has small chip missing, have replacement
-exhaust system is rough, quiet but it leaks a bit, has stock 240 mufflers and i'm sure its pretty restrictive, recommend build a proper setup
-clear coat is peeling on roof, paint chip on hood. some small dents on right front fender and roof.
-minor dents and scrapes on a few panels due to age, it cleans up pretty nice
-needs intercooler/rad/air filter mounts made. have stock 940 turbo IC/rad mounts
-I'm sure there are some minor things I've forgotten

Too much to list really, had the car so long its in solid shape. I've autocrossed this car multiple times, never fails to impress me. its drifts pretty good too.
I built the suspension 3 years ago, and then 1.5 years ago followed with the turbo setup, performs great, had dyno'd at 185hp. Solid car, just gotta move on with my life.

$3200
or make me an offer in person
Located in Kitsilano area, Vancouver.
wow. $30k resto

Been for sale for quite some time now. I'm really surprised no one's picked it up yet, as it hits a lot of cool factors - wagon, manual, turbo, good mods, decent price.

It'll be years til anything similar comes back on the market and this one seems pretty damn solid.

Anyone who pays that much is an idiot lol. The motors in those things are the mustang Mach 1 motors and they're honestly not anywhere nearly as good as the motor from the mustang cobra.
