I'd rock that, just need storage for the winter hardtop ;)

TouringTeg 08-05-2014 11:17 AM

then again, the most expensive mercedes is a cheap mercedes!

I love older amgs but oh god imagine the cost of maintenance or replacing an electronic such as a window regulator :fulloffuck:

Acethriller 08-05-2014 11:59 PM

Rebuilt title but low mileage and looks really clean and well maintained.

2001 Honda S2000

Looks clean, and probably drives fine, but NOT a good deal given the re-built title. The price would be good if it had a clean title.

heleu 08-06-2014 09:05 AM

This will never happen, but I secretly want a Viper, even a rebuilt one.

These two are actually in my price range...

---2004 dodge viper only 15mil low----

2004 Dodge Viper

I just need a lot of gas and rear tires, right?

I like how the owner emphasizes how it took him such a long time to find this s2k.

twitchyzero 08-06-2014 04:59 PM

maybe he did?
it's becoming more difficult to find AP1 <100k regardless of status

I think that applies to pretty much every rebuilt car...

I like them too. There are so many rebuilt Vipers out there.

Heck there was a detail shop in the same building as my work who bought one that was crashed and rebuilt and sold it. Black/black. Looked badass.

punkwax 08-06-2014 09:16 PM

Please, no more rebuilts in the "good buys" thread unless they're nothing but track machines you plan to kill and not re-sell unless to someone else who plans to kill.

everyone has their def'n of good buys...while I may never buy rebuilt, many just simpy want the bang for the buck

Last week I see a modded 80's domestic truck with a rusty/dinged up body and a trashy-looking camper in the back for $10K I'm like :heckno: while others were like :ahwow: or :notbad:

Looks like some sort of fluid blew up in there...

MindBomber 08-06-2014 09:37 PM

The crew cab was extremely well built. The rusty, dinged up body added character to the off-road beast that its parts composed.

On that note, 1948 willys truck

fliptuner 08-06-2014 09:48 PM

I bought parts off the owner of that Willy's. It's fucking insane and well built.

I disagree - if that S2K was say, $8K, it would be worth it. There needs to be heavy discount for the difficult resale when the time comes.

True. My friend wants $17K for his 2000 S2000 with <100K. I think he's crazy.:failed:
