I'd be ready to put 5-8k into it right away for that body repair and what I bet is deferred maintenance from an owner that would sell a car with that kind of damage.

agreed.

worth saving imo... it is a cdm spec... kinda part of M3 history imo.

and of course, dat yellow too :megusta:

The prices of the shoes now I just can't believe. I'd expect 32k for an s54 version.

jasonturbo 08-27-2016 06:49 PM

Price of every car is too high right now, going to be a lot of these "new age collectors" getting crushed when the chips fall lol

westopher 08-27-2016 07:34 PM

All its going to take is
A) the economy tanking (US and here, as its already in the fucking shitter here, but it just means americans buy all of our cars)
B) Car companies making some good, fun cars that you don't need to fight 100 people just to get on a fucking list for. (see point A)

This was for sale last summer for like $28,000. Price is more in line now. Nice car but curious if it was only the previously high asking price that kept it from being sold. I'd love a GD STI again. An 2006 would be my first choice.

snowfarmer 08-28-2016 07:16 PM

What are these?! Cars for ANTS?! They will need to be at least....three times bigger!

supafamous 08-28-2016 07:26 PM

2008 Acura TSX low klm

2008 TSX - manual. Great price if the condition is solid. Might be an US car as that colour seat wasn't available in Canada far as I know.

Seen these in Steveston often. Just horrendous. Definitely catch your eye, but not in a good way. You don't want your business to be associated with these monstrosities.

We have a thread for that, and it's: http://www.revscene.net/forums/67916...ist-fails.html
Those things are a FAR cry from being classify as a "good buy"

LOL wtf is that?

I had a MB 190E...not one like that but...$290k? No, I don't want a Ferrari 488 and change...I'd rather have a 30 year old Benz with a huge ass wing on the back.

its cool, but not 290k cool.

but then again, you are buying actual racing pedigree (the car did win DTM those few years in that configuration..)

basically same idea as buying a "road version" of the Lancia Delta S4 :lawl:

SkunkWorks 08-30-2016 02:18 PM

^ It's a moot point now. This particular EvoII has been cut up and modified far from original. Doubt they'd get over 100 for it...

This guy came to my shop like 3 years back or something asking for chrome wheels in a 14x11 with negative offset for his smart car. I tried to tell him in the most polite way possible that it would not fit the car, but he got offended and said "I'll make them fit my car, I've got a 1978 blahblahblahblahblahblah and I've done blahblahblah". I guess he did make those wheels fit... lol
