2002 Audi S4 Avant B5 6-Speed Manual SUPER RARE !!!

woot bi turbo S4 Avant (asking price is rich though...)

thumper 09-12-2016 09:59 AM

but the seller is a salvage yard :(

The Producer 09-12-2016 10:07 AM

I checked out this car at GCVW this year with a for sale sign on it. Looks clean. Paint was good, body is straight.

They're not hiding anything about it being from a yard - I'd have it inspected of course.

You're a glutton for punishment if you're even considering a B5 S4 though, unless you're very very handy.

Contour Svt is just $1000? I need a trailer so I can grab that and the Starion.

However the Contour is a Ford. Hard to get parts for Fords over 10 years old

but is it easier to find parts for a starion?!?

68style 09-12-2016 05:33 PM

That SVT is in pretty bad shape and crazy high mileage... But no it's not a hard car to find parts for.

Calgary man finds toughest part of owning 2009 Ford F-150 truck is finding replacement part - Business - CBC News

How about a 9 year old F150

Makes you wonder how long manufactures supply parts for

Jmac 09-12-2016 06:28 PM

I'm really surprised no one could find that part in a salvage F-150

This US manual IS300 back on the market, was previously asking $9000.

Is this the one with concerns for rust?

dang!

PRICE DROP! JDM RHD 1999 Honda Accord SiR wagon - mint, rare, fast

Not sure if this qualifies as a good buy but definitely interesting. Manual would probably seal the deal for me, hah.

Spoiler!

SpartanAir 09-12-2016 09:19 PM

^ Already posted. But that is a good buy IMO. Could probably knock it down a few hundred and you have a fast Honda wagon for cheap. Great family car.

Then again I'm obsessed with wagons :fuckthatshit:

Painted wheel weight also??

thumper 09-13-2016 01:19 PM

price is falling hard. wasn't this something like $14k a few pages back?

i don't know if you guys remember but a few years back this used to have domani/acura el front bodywork (i was told by someone it has been in a front end collision and was repaired as such before being shipped here) and was first for sale at the vancouver kia dealership for awhile before getting the nose job to what you see now...

Port Man 09-13-2016 01:36 PM

No badge, unpainted grill, no fender markers?

Thats quite the history if true. Buyer beware

judging by the grill and fender, and the slight different shade of white on the front end, yes this should be the one that had the Domani front end on.

snowfarmer 09-13-2016 01:58 PM

Not to mention the wonky panel gap between the front bumper and fender

JDMEK9 09-13-2016 02:09 PM

this is what I was told when the car was still at kia... with the EL front end

Quote:

There is a huuugeee hit on it. This was the lot managers car at Kia, he rearended someone at a light and completely fucked the front. It had to have a brand new front end put on including rad support and further back where the apron was all pushed in. I believe the frame was also quite damaged in the accident. It will not show on carfax as ICBC wouldn't cover it, and I wouldn't be sure about the quality of work done on it as I know it was done cheap.

How much would a new engine cost?
