Inb4 track car comments. | whats the one with the mugen front bumper and sides on it before... the car got into an accident on the front driver side where the bumper was damaged and replaced with OEM, the hood is new from seibon since the old one was damaged during the accident as well and was unrepairable. the front driver side apron was repaired during the accident... the reason for the mugen sides not to be on the car right now is because its damaged and was unable to be repaired so OEM was ordered and painted

Why would anyone buy that for 11k as a track car when you could buy this one for $6500 1995 JDM Integra Type-R
Or this one for $7500 2000 Acura Integra Type-R (Phoenix Yellow)
Or this one for $10,000 Jdm 96 Spec Honda Integra type R
That guy needs a reality check. Spoon parts or not, a repainted accident car with visible rust is NOT worth the sum of its parts

IMO, NC Miata is the single most neglected and overlooked generation in the Miata game, and as such, they are a phenomenal value. Aftermarket support is not quite a strong as the first 2 gens, and now that the ND is out, it isn't the latest and greatest version out there either. But by all measures, even though its aftermarket support is smaller than NA/NB, it literally still has *everything*. Relatively cheap engine swaps are available, and they can make the car very fast.

| 2003 Honda Civic Si Coupe (Manual) Quote:
Selling my 2003 Honda Civic Si
It's a two-door coupe with a 5-speed manual transmission. Clutch is good.
Meticulously maintained - not a single thing is broken. I've owned this car since 2008 and have almost every receipt from work done.
Features (all working):
- air conditioning;
- electric locks, remote entry;
- power windows and sunroof;
- cruise control; and
- heated mirrors.
Maintenance includes:
- Takata airbag recall done - both inflators replaced.
- New head gasket (at Carter Honda) earlier this summer at great expense. Replaced it as soon as I noticed a problem. No engine damage. I have the receipt. This is a common problem on the 1.7 engine in this car, but it will now last another 180,000 km.
- Water pump and timing belt done at about 150,000 km (I have the receipt).
- Engine mount replaced.
- Front struts replaced a few years ago (Monroe stuts with lifetime warranty).
- New 4-season Optimo 4S (mud and snow rated) tires last summer. Still plenty of tread.
- Four wheel alignment at same time as tires (drives straight as an arrow).
Everything is stock. No lowering, no intakes, no garbage.
I am a car enthusiast and I've treated this car with care. I've fixed everything that's broken on it over the years and I can go into agonizing detail about every repair. I've bought a new car, so this has to go. Inspections and test drives welcome (assuming you can drive a manual).
There are three minor accidents and a comprehensive claim since I've owned it:
- two rear-enders (rear bumper replaced once, fixed once);
- one front driver's side impact (cut off in an intersection) - one headlight and front bumper replaced;
- kids threw rocks from a balcony onto the car (seriously). Roof and trunk lid repainted, rear and front windows replaced.
Absolutely no frame, mechanical or engine damage ever.
I am pretty firm on the price - I think it's very fair considering the maintenance I've done, especially recently.
Call or text Chris with the information above. I can show the car most evenings after 7 and on weekends.

Honda really didn't do a good job on those years of the car, and there are numerous common and well known problems with them. To just name a few, you have failing engine mounts, weak front shocks, problematic air bag sensors, problematic seat belt buckles, slipping automatic transmissions, etc. These problems didn't get fixed until the 04 facelift, and the 04-05 cars are very solid.
Personally, unless the price reflects this significantly poorer reliability, I'd stay away from the 01-03 Civics in general, and opt for the 04-05 cars instead.

Claims to be an enthusiast but he puts Monroe struts on his car?? Yup, those are the ones everyone on the enthusiast forums is raving about! Even if he was on a budget and put Racelands on the thing it would say more for his enthusiasm (never mind the lack of money...) |
