I used the wrong term - positive PPI and service records certainly mitigate the negative connotations of higher milage cars. Neither of those cars are high milage anyway, just a bit over average.

Too many mileage snobs around these days. Shop the cars that have had major services performed over garage queens everytime. I love when the PO has spent the maintenance $'s

150k km 996 with all major maintenance records is the car I want, not a 30k mystery car from the states. Higher mileage E92 with throttle actuators done, E46's with subframes reinforced etc.

you know all this - splitting hairs is fun though

Their prices are so low now? Any owners want to chime in on maintenance + reliability?

I am not an owner, but I would think the Brembo cars command a higher price. Hyundai always has constant improvement as well, so maybe this car lacks something.

This JZX100 Chaser is really special to me, and definitely one of a kind. I've always thoroughly enjoyed this car, and hope that whoever takes it home will care for it as much as I have.
I've been through the whole thing top to bottom with a fine toothed comb, and anything that looked out of place or could require service was taken care of. It really has been treated well and is incredible for both street and track use. It is very difficult to find a car so extensively modified and this type of condition.
Always available to answer questions, feel free to get ahold of me anytime! C'mon down and check it out!
Thank you kindly,
-Spencer

No worries.

I once owned an S60 with the same setup and it was lame beyond comprehension.

On the upside the front seats and heater made it the best road trip/commuter while living on the prairies!

Nice to see a LHD TT MKIV Supra but a few question marks with that car. Looks like the front lip was painted and the front badge is missing. Who puts Megan coilovers on Supra TT?

I also question the crappy pictures and what looks like a moving or eviction sale with all the boxes in the background. Or perhaps they dug it out of the garage to cash in.

Agreed. Fuck dude. I vomit a little every time I see a Miata too.

88SupraT 10-12-2016 04:00 PM

Hey I have megans on my mkIII supra too, they're not that bad :okay: haha

As for the lip, it's a possibility that the whole car was painted as the lower trim on the side skirt is also painted red (usually lower trim is black like the lip). Also missing is the spoiler I would wonder if the wholes were filled properly before paint when it was removed? It seems it could be a dig it out and see if you can get cash from someone that loves supras and looking for a winter project.

If I had the money it would be me with that things as a winter project haha

Problem was, in 94 the Supra and 300zx cost $60k, the RX7 was $50k, and the Mitsu 3000gt was incredibly rare. We couldn't afford our dream cars back then. The best affordable, yet sporty Nissan you could get had a truck motor. The Skyline didn't exist outside of Japan, Britain and Australia. 90's era Subarus were built for lesbians, and if you owned a Porsche you were a doctor, stock broker, or drug dealer. There were no luxury leases in the era of parachute pants.

My dream car in 1992 was the "new" eg civic.

In 1992 I just got my license and could only afford a 1983 Prelude.
