I picked up a SVT Contour with a few issues as a project car last year... my best buddy had one when we were growing up so it was kind of a nostalgia thing for me and they really are great cars to drive. Too bad for this one, his price is totally out to lunch for what he has there with the body damage, terrible looking exhaust and high mileage. That's a $2k car at best.

I've seen this around in Richmond from time to time . It burns oil I believe , every time I see it there's black dots on the rear bumper

I believe the head gasket comment was for the Subaru above my post, look for rust on the shock towers. The add is down so I'm assuming it sold, did you buy it?

That filthy engine compartment isn't a promising sign on a maintenance intensive car like the Allroad.
