1995 Mercedes Benz E320 - Only 15000kms

How in the world is this dealer finding these cars...

Speaking from experience, these low KM survivor cars (not just this Benz) will probably need rubber bushings, timing belt (if applicable), CV joints, all tracks (door, sunroof) greased, brake lines and of course a complete fluid flush to be in proper working order.

Love 90s Benzes, but 35k?? That's pretty insane. If they're not in a rush, and have a nostalgic buyer, then I guess...but that money could almost buy you a brand new Benz. Not counting all the work you have to put in that you mentioned.

That dealer has some amazing cars and some terrible prices. Holy fuck.

i don't know if this is legit. phone number comes up as lucky8 auto in a google search, and it's using a stock photo taken from saabkyle04 youtube site (because car hasn't landed according to the reason given in the advert)... but if true it's cheap:

LOL in the ad for the skyline the guy really says "We go over and hand pick the cars ourselves and bring back only the best" :D good one

underscore 11-18-2016 08:27 AM

If a place like Lucky8 is selling an R34 GTR for that price it means something is fubar with it.

Spoiler!

Doesn't specify why, but the s13 has rebuilt title. Also says major head work but only lists studs and gasket. S14 could be a good buy depending how flexible/desperate he is.

Question for those who pay attention to the E36 world. I'm only posting this here as it may get posted in the future.

I have a coworker (57y/o male) who looking to trade in his 5spd 1998 328is, Black on beige. ~170km, no rust. Garage kept since he bought it (in 2000). I said it would be an easy sell, and I said he may be able to get 5k for it? Sound about accurate?

The dealer was going to pay him $2500. Plus incentive's he's doesn't really want to bother with selling for even as little as a $1000 extra (Which means 4k +). Reasonable or no?

tofu1413 11-19-2016 05:36 PM

Private sale sounds about right if well maintained with invoices.

$4000 ish would be realistic

The_AK 11-19-2016 08:20 PM

LOL that guy bought that m3 for much less

LOL we live in a(n internet) world where people think 200k Type Rs are worth the same as a 100k e46 m3.

It's the owner's personal car. I think it was #1/250 or something.
