When you get into nostalgia and collector cars reason goes out the window.

When I bought my ITR I was looking at the E46 M3 and E39 M5 quite seriously. One of the reasons I went with the ITR is because I have worked on so many Hondas over the years.

And because there is a 1/500 89 Shelby CSX for sale on BAT I am gonna post it here. I have serious nostalgia for this one.

2002 VW GTI, clean, tastefully modded, nice stereo with rear cam, and body kit !! Relatively low kms, 1.8T turbo, well maintained. Great 2nd car for commute or a 1st car. Disclaimer - no relations at all, just a good find.

Damn, it was either fake, or someone got an insane deal. That car was a true unicorn.

It is light because it is so small. it doesn't even clear my stock civic brakes.

what am i missing here? over 244k kms, from ontario, dosen't even bother mentioning what's wrong with it (other than the check engine light being on in one of the pics), and it's bad enough that the dealership dosen't think it's worth fixing or certify... might be worth something as parts?

It could be a total piece of shit, or it could just be a cheap high mileage car. I'd probably just bring a obd reader and scan it on the spot.

At that price I'd look into it myself, but its too damn far.
