When you get into nostalgia and collector cars reason goes out the window.
When I bought my ITR I was looking at the E46 M3 and E39 M5 quite seriously. One of the reasons I went with the ITR is because I have worked on so many Hondas over the years.
And because there is a 1/500 89 Shelby CSX for sale on BAT I am gonna post it here. I have serious nostalgia for this one. 1989 Shelby CSX | Bring a Trailer

2002 VW GTI, clean, tastefully modded, nice stereo with rear cam, and body kit !! Relatively low kms, 1.8T turbo, well maintained. Great 2nd car for commute or a 1st car. Disclaimer - no relations at all, just a good find. 2002 Volkswagen VW Golf GTI >>Loaded  |

sad to see them in that state. they deserve to be refinished, or at least given a good bath... just how cheap is walmart (they sell that tire brand) to use clip on wheel weights like that?

i still remember the honda fwd drag racers using these for rear wheels and a different setup for slicks in the front in an effort to shave weight...

I'd probably just bring a obd reader and scan it on the spot.
At that price I'd look into it myself, but its too damn far.
