Correct, I just posted that pic to give an idea what the evo wheels look/fit like.

That bumper is a WRC Burn Up wide body kit piece.

TouringTeg 08-17-2014 03:03 PM

Nice buy. The EVO wheels look great on the STi

Someone should really buy this. Before the failstorm hits, click on it, its not my car. I would ask more than double this for mine.
1997 Techno Violet E36 M3 109k miles

MindBomber 08-17-2014 08:46 PM

Nice buy, but it's tough to get past the salvage title.

I will own a E36 M3 in Technoviolet someday.

Here is a 1981 Celica Supra in what looks like pretty nice shape and it's only 1500. This thing has ICBC collector potential.

Sorry, didnt wanna make a new thread for this, however i need some opinions.. if he sold it to me for 4800, would it be a fair deal?

Also its from Saskatchewan and it doesnt seem like i can find anything from the VIN he provided me..

96 honda integra GSR (RHD)

Why would you pay $5k for the pain in the ass of having right hand drive on a nearly 20 year old car that was sold here in identical performance trim (and I use the word performance with a guffaw) albeit with different front fascia, no ability to check the history and pretty high mileage (for an import anyway).

There are so many better cars at that price range that won't have you cursing life every time you try to turn left.

knight604 08-18-2014 12:36 PM

because i-vtecyo RHD JDM style

actually in JDM its the GSR equivalent is the SiR and it has 8 more hp. and it is so a performance sports car

could justify it after some haggling ($4800 or less)

few things that I could think of for this dc2 makes it an okay buy:

- no rust.
- lower kms than most local cars
- original factory JDM front end (rather have this than a "converted" car)
- power folding mirrors
- decent interior condition ( i have yet to see a DC2 GSR with an okay interior for under 5k)

but to be honest, i'd just pay a bit more for a type R :fuckthatshit:

If it wasn't a salvage it would be a deal. Easily over 10g's once your done with importation and exchange. Not to mention no power steering, I don't know how that would go during a safety...

Another odd one I found, total beast with a bit of engine work.

Seems like a hell of a deal. I sent the guy an e-mail the other night but still haven't gotten a response.

unrelated: 86 MR2 for 3900

Made me think of this:

underscore 08-19-2014 09:44 AM

^ hell of a deal for a car in that condition, no rear rust is huge on those cars.

Yeah, but if the car is Canadian, then it must have had rust at some point and had it cut out and welded. Not sure if that was the case, but it's more than likely.

That car has been on sale there for the longest time as well, I think the seller was originally asking 5000 for it.

underscore 08-20-2014 07:40 AM

Oh I know, but having the rust dealt with already is a huge plus since nearly all of them have it. I'm pretty sure that isn't a factory colour either.
