Someone should really buy this. Before the failstorm hits, click on it, its not my car. I would ask more than double this for mine. 1997 Techno Violet E36 M3 109k miles

Why would you pay $5k for the pain in the ass of having right hand drive on a nearly 20 year old car that was sold here in identical performance trim (and I use the word performance with a guffaw) albeit with different front fascia, no ability to check the history and pretty high mileage (for an import anyway).
There are so many better cars at that price range that won't have you cursing life every time you try to turn left.

actually in JDM its the GSR equivalent is the SiR and it has 8 more hp. and it is so a performance sports car

could justify it after some haggling ($4800 or less)
few things that I could think of for this dc2 makes it an okay buy:
- no rust.
- lower kms than most local cars
- original factory JDM front end (rather have this than a "converted" car)
- power folding mirrors
- decent interior condition ( i have yet to see a DC2 GSR with an okay interior for under 5k)
but to be honest, i'd just pay a bit more for a type R

If it wasn't a salvage it would be a deal. Easily over 10g's once your done with importation and exchange. Not to mention no power steering, I don't know how that would go during a safety...
^ hell of a deal for a car in that condition, no rear rust is huge on those cars.
Yeah, but if the car is Canadian, then it must have had rust at some point and had it cut out and welded. Not sure if that was the case, but it's more than likely.
That car has been on sale there for the longest time as well, I think the seller was originally asking 5000 for it.
