and for those of us who still owe a bit on financing, it's usually a lot easier to trade in the vehicle than it is to try and sell the car privately, since the bank still holds the title

Things might be better down there because there are more dealers of brand X not too far away, but around here I've yet to come across a dealership that isn't run by morons ripping people off left right and center. Granted I haven't dealt with every dealer in the valley, but all the ones I have are terrible.

I dont think i'll have a job nor the dealer will stay open :lawl:

I mean, you don't see people complaining paying stupid money for iphones... :awwyeah:

We sold 2283 Pre owned cars last year.......... I don't think theres anything wrong on the deals we give out! :lawl:

Another thing is financing: goodluck getting personal loan on a private sale car

I'm with you in this sense TOFU.
Some dealers, and I believe yours provide a value with their service that will show for the life of the car. It's just that people get jaded by the Kingsway dealers selling scrap heaps and the blitzkreigs flipping cars with for 40% profit without providing any benefit or service other than financing for that massive mark up. A dealer should provide value for the premium.

I've had plenty of negative experiences at name brand dealerships, there's a shortage of quality people in the automobile sales field.

Pretty much any trade now a days
It's hard to find someone that wants to do it right and not just looking to make the most profit

I dunno who you dealt with at Ford but when I wanted to go test drive your e92 he was relentless, would not give up then told me I was stupid for not coming in. Couldn't help but laugh

tofu1413 01-07-2017 02:03 PM

kind of glad they didnt end up selling it.

They also managed to ruin the power window regulator on that car.

Car ended up back at my dealer.... and went to nice older gentleman on Vancouver Island.

tofu1413 01-08-2017 11:11 AM

maybe competition suspension bad for his back :troll:

westopher 01-08-2017 11:17 AM

Surprised he doesn't take prospective clients for drives in it then.

asma123 01-08-2017 11:33 AM

Is it listed for the same price he bought it?lol

westopher 01-08-2017 12:34 PM

I don't see it being an unreasonable price. Probably 1 grand or 2 less

tofu1413 01-08-2017 06:40 PM

it was sold for $44900 when it was at my dealer. shitty part is he will lose money from tax.

westopher 01-08-2017 06:48 PM

Not exactly shitty. Getting to drive an e92 m3 for a few months for the price of a cheap rental is pretty lucky.

tofu1413 01-08-2017 07:23 PM

based on the advertised KM....... I dont think he drove it at all lol

dark0821 01-08-2017 08:33 PM
