Very hard to come by GT2! They continue to rise in value. Alberta plate? https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/cto/5946427865.html

The XRS isn't a car I am particularly passionate about. The engine is pretty fun to use at it's limits, that is about it. But for $2000... and if you negotiate even lower... I'd say probably one of the best deals I've seen on here. Even if it needs some small things here and there, parts are cheap enough for it. Would make the perfect daily.

one thing to note though, the GT2 is one of most difficult cars to drive, it literally wants to kill you! Anyone considering a 996 GT2, save your money and get a 997.1 GT2, far far superior car to drive.....

Porsche 944? Asking $4300, grind him down on his price and there's your $ for a set of snowies. https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/cto/5942757762.html
You didn't say you wanted a reliable winter beater.... Quote:

My old eg with good snowies was one of the best winter cars I've ever driven. Aside from my Subarus (which you have to learn how to winter drive ) the civics and integra that I owned were amazing for the snow.
You need to use the tail to get around slippery corners. Also, lsd really helps.

While my preferences tend towards a smaller, sporty, manual RWD car, that's not everyone's cup of tea.
2005 VOLVO S60 2.5T MINT - $4500 (BURNABY) https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/bnc/ctd/5923629425.html
It's auto and FWD but super nice interior, comfortable and by this generation Volvo had resolved the transmission problems they had in the '01-'03 models.
I don't know about Azro's rep as a dealer.
As a side note, I live in Pemberton and commute back and forth between Pemberton and Whistler every day all winter long, through snowstorms and ice in a RWD car.
