Pics are from a cardomain, but the cardomain page says Vancouver. Fake ads usually don't reply either. But Ya it's too good to be true

My buddys suspect it might be fake to draw attention away from the $5500 TSX, idk why anyone would do that though

punkwax 01-26-2017 06:21 AM

It's to make the owner of the $5500 TSX feel they should lower their price based on a comparable. An ad I'm sure the buyer (ad creator) will show the seller for negotiation. CL scam tactics 101 SwiftRage

Its a TSX, better off taking some pictures of a strangers car on the street if you're trying to undercut someone

Honestly ppl r so fucking cheap to do something like that just to save some bucks. Price match yes I get it but putting up stupid fake ads like that is just another level.

That cts-v is not a good price, it's a normal one for at least the last year.

If someone showed me an ad like that and asked to lower price, I always tell them why don't they just get it from them instead of wasting our time.

Well, to carry the scam through. Just in case guy whom he showed the posting to calls to see whether it is real or not, he has to reply and make it look like it's real.

JDMDreams 01-26-2017 04:09 PM

Not sure if real or not but got a reply from the white tsx he said he has 20 guys wanting to buy the car. And when I will bring cash?? I said I have time on Monday to check it out but no response after

I've done this also. Met two guys who were almost trying to strong arm me into lowering the price on my old IS. Going on about high kms (they were average for the year) amongst other things and that a cleaner example with less kms was on the market for thousands less. I said "well go buy that one then" and they looked kind of stunned. Now that I think of it, maybe they were CL lowball scammers looking to flip it...
