It's got a fake vibe to it. Got nothing to lose by contacting and trying to view it though.

Back to the wagon theme, worth a ferry ride to the Island?

2006 Saab 9-3 Wagon, 135K kms, auto, $8000. Asking price somewhat high but these are rare.

nah. Not an aero with the 2.8l V6, auto, old pre-facelift dash. Nice car but not worth a ferry ride, it'd need to be cheaper than it's priced.

not a bad deal for a driveable 2002 thats not crusted to crap.

vitaminG 02-11-2017 02:05 PM

I think like half the ads posted in here are fake. Does this happen on Kijiji too? Craigslist really pisses me off with fake ads and dealer reposts

fliptuner 02-11-2017 02:28 PM

Yeah, before I actually try contacting a seller, I usually Google the images/phone number.

2011 BMW 335i manual with 120k for $20K.

Previously posted but thought it was sold. I emailed the dealer and it's still around. One $2K claim on it. Other 2011s are listed for a lot more money - $25K or so.

Going to see it tomorrow but leery of any 5 year old BMW with no warranty especially one with that 3L turbo. Thoughts?

Went to see it today and I get an email from the dealer 30 mins beforehand that the check engine light had gone on in the morning. Low coolant light had come on. Classic out of warranty German car.

I went in to see it anyways - the car is otherwise in pretty pristine shape. If you're willing to take the risk on an used BMW then it's probably worth it.

2001 S2000 with 105k. Could be real, could be fake. Worth a shot. $12,500

Traum 02-11-2017 08:57 PM

For those who are really interested in the BMW, given that it is a legitimate new car dealership selling it, isn't it easy enough to ask the dealership to fix the CEL before delivery?

It's a steal if $12.5k includes the hard top. But no licence plate showing at all, and no interior shots... Hmm...

not a bad deal. Car should be a single turbo car, since its a 2011, not twin turbo as advertised. twin power turbo is another name for twin scroll turbo.

"I dont know why people are "trying to sell" S2000s for ridiculous prices, a 2001 s2000 with 150k is not worth 35K, get real, its not an nsx. and its not a 2008 S2000 CR with 40kms"

 from the ad...

I mean... those words there make it seem fake to me. S2K with hardtop for 12k is a killer deal

Cwift 02-11-2017 11:25 PM

ad's deleted, i wonder if it was sold instantly and wasn't fake

TouringTeg 02-12-2017 06:18 AM

More likely it was a fake ad created by an annoyed S2000 shoppers who can't afford current prices

Over on the island very few s2k come up for sale. Supply is low
