You CANNOT import any Lotus Elise or Exige into Canada. It will not be road legal.
Their manufacturer exemption for Elise & Exige model expired. (Safety test)
That's why there is no more newer gen. Elise & Exige on the market.

Kit car maybe

You could import a 15yo Elise from Japan or Europe, gonna be rover powered though. Still be well over 20k I'm sure

I have been keeping an eye on a yellow 2006 Cayman S over here. 88k $34,400 It was previously up for $29k on CL Nanaimo (was located in Qualicum Beach). The ad disappeared and showed up the next day in Victoria for 5k more.

had no idea elise/exige were not importable
that explains the used market here haha

well in 2 years they will start hitting the 15 year mark
and new ones will return to dealerships around then too

I think it is a testimony to the W202's reliability, but I would avoid it simply because of the high KM's. Lots can go wrong...

It looks damn well kept though... No wear on bolster, wheels aren't oxidizing, lights are still clear, Woodgrain that normally cracks has not...

TLDR; it has 331k

for a few grand it seems worth the gamble?
