They could also be plating the car with minimal insurance after it sitting uninsured for a while, so it may have been stored for a while too.

My brother just took a bath on his FX45. Such a weird market. The sale brought out the worst of the CL lowballers. So different than selling enthusiast vehicles.

Selling used Infiniti is a PITA. Took a bath on my 02 Q45 as well. Resale is awful.

And selling any used luxury vehicle is a pain. People expect service records from new and everything to be perfect on a 10yo car for 10k.

He had it on craigslist for about 4 months and ended up with only a few old men / chinese foreign students kicking tires and requesting test drives (he didnt give them any). They griped and whined about the fact that his corsa red was too boring of a color and they deserve money off for that.

His 458 also had a loose side mirror and since it was past warranty period, he just screwed them himself. This old guy came by and started twisting his mirrors and found that one was slower than the other. He asked my buddy to produce service records showing that the mirrors been adjusted and my buddy told him he fixed it himself. The old guy was instantly turned off and went home.

He finally gave up and sold it to a bunch of those chinese exporters who paid him in cash and probably flipped it for 3x back in China.

2006 Miata GT with hardtop. Looks like it's slightly lowered as well - the drop is small enough that I'm going to guess that its a set of Progress springs. The steering wheel has been modded as well. Has an AEM cold air intake (on the Fiat of Victoria site) and looks like the wheels were repainted (not plasti-dipped).

Knock $500-1000 off and it's a pretty nice deal.
