Love these, quicker than the 40k equivalent German rival (M3), sound amazing, reliable engine, cheap to repair and cost as much to fill up as my 2.5L Jetta daily.

But at least if you were to do fly by with a 2.5 Jetta, it would sound like half of a Lamborghini:alonehappy:

Also because their sales team has little to no knowledge on these cars, yet aren't doing their due diligence to research them a bit. The sales guy I spoke with didn't even know if it was RWD or not.

Went there for service before. Really professional people. They specialize a lot in mercedes and they are very knowledgeable in older mercedes as well.

2009 Nissan 370z Twin Turbo for 33k. Not sure if it's a good buy but it looks like it's a really clean example. Auto though

No, it actually makes the power of an I4 even with 1 extra cylinder.

The transmission just kills that car for me.
Who the hell spends twin turbo money on that car, but sticks with the slushbox?

Reminded me of this build. Seems like a great way to light money on fire to me (although the mustang is even more baffling)

Back in the day, we had a member who called himself 1994SupraTT. He took a lot of flack for his automatic MKIV Supra. It was an awesome car, and made a ton of power, but it was an auto.

That said, he showed up to a meet one day and we realized he could do what he wanted, because he was 6'3" and 250lbs!
:lol

^ I miss Alex, his flame wars were epic

Sure but the auto supras are almost exclusively used in drag racing. Very strong and takes the power well. Probably the only car I wouldn't bash as a slush box

Jmac 03-08-2017 04:29 PM

It's called an autotragic for a reason.

I have a 94 TT auto. It is a suprisingly good and suits the car.. The MKIV is a big GT car and the auto is nice for cruising around town or for when you get stuck in traffic. I have my ITR for when I want to be fully engaged.

That said manual is more fun so if keep it long term I may do a V160 or 350z trans. Toyota discontinued the 6spd trans last year so prices are going crazy on them.

97 Land Rover Defender .. pretty cool and unique looking but I don't think it's worth anything close to the asking price considering the mileage.

Agreed. Who's to say that women don't drive as hard as men? I don't understand why sellers mention hwy mileage (without specifying their actual route) either b/c there's not that many actual highways in the GVRD as compared to ontario or the US.

FYI that car was not only Lady driven (not that it matters), and was sold to presumably the current female driver maybe 1-2 months ago. I think it belonged to one of the guys at Candy auto body.

No wonder I thought the pictures looked familiar. Saw it in a Facebook posting offering services and parts. Not sure if it was Candy Auto Body tho
