^^ I was looking up info on 302 swaps in FDs and couldn't seem to find any.
Everyone seems to be using LSx motors for swaps. Then I found out that the 302 requires the firewall to be hacked up because of the oil pump location. That's probably part of the reason why it's been sitting for 8 years.
5.0 swap development has pretty much been been null.
Pretty much be buying it just for the shell at this point IMO.

Not to mention the 5.0 is iron where the LS1 is aluminum - there is a huge weight penalty to the 5.0.

any oldtimers here? does anyone recognize this car from long ago? i can't help but think i've seen this GS-R before in its younger years...
and i still have DA headlights somewhere in storage...
with that kind of damage to the hood, the core support has to be bent?

but it's been for sale for awhile now so i must be missing something obvious about it

Very curious on the damage. Nice car, rare in stock(ish) form, love the EVO's. Old school C-I member had a nice black one back 10 years ago but it's long gone now.
Club integra? Shiiiet that is going back. I miss my old DA. I'd love to own a gsr but they all have 350+k km now and parts for the b17a1 are hard to come by
Damn that DA is sweet deal. G2IC FTW
Had a 90 LS for 3 yrs.
A buddy and I bought a crashed Aztec green 92 GSR back in the day and parted it out. The previous owner was high / drunk and launched it off a cliff. Didn't make a dime but it had the rare center arm rest.

probably cheaper locally though... or maybe a jdm engine importer has a DA front clip that someone bought for the engine and dosen't need the clip anymore that you could salvage?
good luck.

i emailed to see pictures of the damage, and it looks like it has some front clip damage. He describe the accident to be a lowspeed collision, and rammed underneath an SUV.
can someone post these pics of the damage? or are they just the same as the ones posted in the ad?
have to check the windshield base around the hinges as well just in case...
