my buddy picked up a 2004 clean title SMG hardtop m3 with 118km for $11k last week... $21k for an 05 is a bit steep...

SMGs are way less desirable. 6speeds will always command a premium

21K is a fair price for a car with only 91k KM

Plus sellers are always negotiable if you have money in hand so knock another 1-2K off depend on your negotiable skills

It's a E46, car is going to be a classic we not talking about some shit run of the mill plain jane car. Factor in all the variables if I had 21K I probably pull the trigger and it would have a nice cozy spot in my garage :hotbaby:

A) your buddy got an insane deal
B) I bet there is a bit of wiggle room on that one at the dealer
C) The amount of money that certain maintenance parts like bushings and shit can add up to on these cars is insanely expensive. If one car doesn't have certain parts addressed and the other does it can be a 5k gap closed in the matter of a day.
Regardless, it sounds like your buddy got an absolute steal. Usually 20k is the going rate for a good e46, 25k for premium with all the exciting stuff, like desirable colours, competition package, etc, and 15k is for the smg convertibles, with dirty pasts.
