Ferrari O2 Sensor (Surrey)
Ferrari rear oxygen sensor, "rear lambda feeler" ferrari part # 180915, removed from F-430 but also fits 360, 599 and maybe other models, Maseratti or Mercedes. Two sensors; one was indicating problems, it wasn't installed properly (loose), the other was fine, but I changed out both. All free, call me for pick up location

Hello, do you guys think this is a good buy? I'm trying to decide whether to buy from a family friend...

2001 Lexus ES300 [Last year of this body style]
One owner
94,000km
Grey/Green with Cloth interior (no sunroof model)
One owner/Serviced at Regency Lexus (Still waiting for service records)

Price - Between 5-6k depending on negotiation

I went to test drive the car today and the engine seems to be healthy, interior is pretty clean but needs a good detail, and the engine bay also needs a good detail (found some rat shit near the battery...) After had the car jacked up and took a good look at the undercarriage and found some things that needed to be addressed including:

- Underpanel cracked and needs to be replaced
- Differential leaking a very small bit of transmission fluid
- Front brakes need to be changed
- Tires need a rotation
- OEM alloys badly curbed
- Front bumper looks like it was resprayed but poorly, as paint was peeling a bit
- Transmission oil flush needed
- Water pump/Timing belt/Thermostat may need to be replaced

Good buy or not?

Good buy or not?

sounds neglected. will take another 3k to make it tip top shape.

i hate it when people associate toyotas for running forever besides tires and oil change.

those cars need regular servicing as well and thats the only way they can possibly last "forever"

Too good to be true ... mistake, fake, or story. If on the other hand, things checks out, one helluva deal!

Look up the maintenance interval for the timing belt to know when that's needed. ŔFAIK, these are pretty bulletproof cars. A quick scroll through CL will tell you what they generally sell for.

@ 187km and not all stock it is a driver yet they are asking for collector car pricing. The Becker 220 CD player is from a 996. A nice upgrade but the original 993 head unit will be $$$$.
