Don't think that 5.0 is worth 25k...I'd say 8k tops. Its not even the GT
the basic 5.0 LX 5spd notch is the one to get because it's not weighed down with options and a heavy hatch. if you are lucky , there is also the SSP if you can find one that hasn't been thrashed.

the ones equipped in the Z4 35i / 35is and the 335is aren't as problem prone as the early 07 08 09 N54's
How about the 135i? From what I read it's the same typical hpfp, injectors, water pump, and turbos along with some gaskets. But more along lines of every 80-100k replacement intervals.
this generation is the only cts-v i've ever driven and i know i'm going to be flamed for saying this but it felt like junk... but fast junk nonetheless.
Imo pre 2008 cts's and cts-v's didn't feel / look like a luxury car.

It's listed as an MT in his CL ad... but it's clearly an AT from the BAT pictures. Quite misleading for any interested parties since he didn't include any interior pictures on his CL ad.

Its definitely not worth 25k but more between 15-18k. And no one really cares about the GT's. The GT is what was deseriable when they were new because it had the fancy options etc. But nowadays like thumper mentioned, the notchbacks are the most desirable because they're lightweight.

mileage is high, but it looks so clean... 1986 Porsche 944 - $6800 (Richmond)

it may cost more to run than a corolla but this example is listed for less than the prevailing price for similar year/mileage. It's the "Craigslist Good Buys" thread not the craigslist good buys on only sensible cars thread.
oh sorry, I didn't think the cost of ownership was part of the "good buys" formula. We should include more Rolls Royces, Bentleys, 7 series bimmers, S class mercedes because they depreicate like mad.
Your logic is perfect for someone to buy an once expensive car and realize you got in over your head.....have fun spending more on your annual maintenance costs that the purchase price! at least you bought it cheap right?

Seller of the E30 also had an Eagle Talon on BAT that failed to complete (what a coincidence...)
Likely tried to shill bid and failed, twice. Hence wrongly listing the tranny in the CL ad to drive traffic.
Funny I remember watching the Eagle Talon auction. It had FD rims and pictures were taken next to the legislature. That auction failed miserably but I noticed that track cars generally do not do well on BaT.

love it or hate it because of the bodykit or wheels or both... but there is a lot going on with this one.
r34 sedan. has an rb25det in it, and with a big intercooler peeking out of the front bumper my assumption is that it may have some tuning work done or possibly upgraded turbo.
originally an automatic car because of the prndl display on the dash and original tiptronic steering wheel, but now converted to manual.
and it's awd...

Super solid deal. Just keep in mind that the early 460s have weak control arms that should ideally get replaced with the updated design for 2011+ cars. A bushing replacement is OK too.
Late 08+ SWB cars also have laminated/dual pane glass.
I believe it was the 2010s that got bluetooth audio.
