Drivetrain
The Japanese Si and European 1.6i-16 models came with a 1590 cc DOHC engine putting out 135 bhp (101 kW; 137 PS) in the UK-spec model and 140 bhp (104 kW; 142 PS) in the JDM model. Though similar versions of the same engine, the Japanese Si engine was stamped ZC, while the European engine was stamped ZC1

what
there's no such thing as Dual Cam D-series Engine iirc https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_D_engine
even on the image that looks like an SOHC engine https://images.craigslist.org/00E0E_...t_1200x900.jpg
edit: nvm there are such things as DOHC ZC's...
i've never seen one or heard of one before though
it looks just like a B-series engine...wtf Honda

D16A1 from DA1 Integra was DOHC D series, it was essentially a watered down ZC engine.
Yes ZC head could be installed on all D series bottom end, or at least all the common variants with comparable displacement.
ZC swap is for people who want to go through the motions of a swap and still have a slow car.
To list a ZC engine a a highlight is a waste of time IMO.

TIL DA1's had DOHC D Series. I've always assumed Integras started off with B18A1s

decent deal for a daily MK6 GTI - looks well taken care of. https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/cto/6098526629.html
Z4 M Coupe - 2007 BMW M Coupe [body] for Sale in Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Westminster, Surrey and Delta at LP Auto
Seems to be a little under the going rate for these. I spoke to LP today, it had a 9k hit on it. That used to be the end of the world, but maybe it isn't anymore.
I'm going to take a look at it on the weekend. If it looks straight, and no funny business out at LP* then I may have it inspected.
*LP Auto is/was an RS sponsor? Reputation good? In ~ 20 car purchases I've actually never bought a used car from a dealer.

that Z4M has been for sale for months, but the price hasn't changed much over that period of time... is it a local car, or a US import? LP was doing a lot of business back when the dollar was at/almost at par... it used to be everywhere i look there was a LP auto license plate frame on everything around me.

came from the states originally and then through ontario for most of it's life apparently.
Unfortunately there are very few comparables right now.
I really hadn't realized how much the local market has been gutted by what I assume are southward moving premium cars. There's very few Porsches around compared to last year, way less M cars.
Last year there were multiple clean 996's around all the time, Caymans in the low 30's (or under) clean E92 M's.
my mid 30's budget for my next fun car is proving much tougher to spend then I thought it would be.

would recommend a shop that is familiar with these BMW's to take a look...
pretty solid cars overall, S54's supposedly had those rod bear faults. Power window regulators go bad on these as well.
Thats all i can think of for this car.

^^oh ya - I wouldn't do it without having it gone through. Supposed to hear back from them on maintenance history.
It does like like an E90 slipped past my radar: https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/cto/6101722479.html
Again, this would be all about the maintenance history. The savagegeese YT channel has scared me off of these a bit.
You working on the weekend tofu? I might have to swing by and kick a few tires on the BJ lot.

I wouldn't have too high of hopes on maintenance records on a car of that age and an EX-USA car...
If I remember correctly, the dealer records get purged every 7? or 10? years to save database room. (at least for BMW)
Feel free to come by, but I don't think I have much interesting cars here atm

i wonder what is going on with this one: Acura Integra GSR MOTOR - $500 (Surrey) https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/cto/6103332989.html Quote: 1995 Integra GSR Motor/transmission ($500obo)
5 speed short shift - good clutch
Engine runs good
still in vehicle can be tested
Whole vehicle for sale too with papers($700 obo)
No hood front bumper or fenders
Can also tow nearby |
and then there is this separate ad: JDM Integra Type R Bumper & Fenders - $450 https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rch/pts/6100393757.html
same/different seller? from the same car? stolen?

I might also add that it drove a bit weird. Can't quite put my hand on it but I'm sure I'll find something funny in the PPI if I proceed. For it being a 2007 (most produced) and silver (arguably most boring and undesirable) color, I'd say the price isn't right and they've already offered me a considerable discount. go look for Joe, he's a nice guy that's into BMWs.
