Any audi experts here? What do you all think of this car?

So irritating. I really wanted to read more info on turbo setup but he only wrote" top mount". Sucky ad

The RSX has the aspec lip kit on it, oem option from dealer. The Audi, make sure the maintenance is up to date, usually around 100k they have their major service and it is not cheap. Don't think the B7 is the most reliable car ever made.

Back to old-school car searching... I remember asking my dad and mom in the lineup at the grocery store to buy me the new autotrader. Loved reading through it as a kid

Yes, but that pic shows the 05-06 Mugen front lip and sideskirts. 02-04 never got a Mugen front lip, so anything that looks like the one in the pic will be a replica/"style". Also, for 02-04, Mugen has a different version for sideskirts, but sideskirts 02-06 are all interchangeable.

This is the generation with the super complicated timing chain setup right, the ones with the crappy chain tensioners?

Just looking at this makes my head hurt.

That took a few seconds, I counted 4 chains. Such a ridiculous design too I guess chains in the back are supposed to help with balance...? I don't know.. Damn shame because they look so good but I'd probably hate myself by the time servicing comes around.

Full disclosure -- I know the owner of the NB.

This is a properly fast and well sorted Miata. Any time you see Chikara Motorsport working its magic on the drivetrain, you pretty much know it is top quality work. The ITB, in particular, is nothing short of amazing.

If I am not mistaken, the car turned in a 1:53 lap time at the Ridge last year at the hands of the current owner.

Like I said, it is properly fast.

What about the 2006/7 250 hp 3.2L V6 Audi/VW engine in the A3, A4, R32? Does that also use a timing chain?

Quite a bit different now
Has a spoiler, front and rear lips removed, touchscreen deck back to stock, center console back to stock, different aftermarket shift knob.

westopher 05-06-2017 08:47 AM

I don't believe for one second that an e34 m5 at that price and mileage doesn't need 10k worth of motor work.

sorry for the shitty quality but i literally cut it out of the vancouver sun just now at the coffee shop and took a pic with my phone:

https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...83&oe=597825E9

Sold 10 minutes before my scheduled meeting. She'll call if it falls through, but I think it's a miss. :rukidding:

I saw the white one today and it is immaculate, and well priced. Just would have to wrap my head around it being a really base car. It could tide me over until next year to get back into a 911.

Decisions...

Can you not just switch it out for something conventional?
