Lots of great deals have been posted here and they sell fast. At least a couple dozen RS members have snapped up cars thanks to this thread. Everyone has their own taste and what they consider a good deal.
Personally I find this thread entertaining and educational. I have learned lots about cars I previously had no interest in.

I think we should just be more cautious about what gets posted. I think westopher brought up a great point if the same cars at questionable values keep getting posted, it could irreversibly affect market values. This thread has a lot of views so it clearly gets watched by a lot of lurkers. I bet some of them purposely post fake ads to lure some of you guys in.
It's not my thread, it's OUR thread and I think overall it's been pretty good but as I said, maybe dial back on what gets posted for the sake of keeping car values in check.
It's bad enough real estate is an over-inflated joke. I don't want a bunch of cars heading in that direction as well.
I've definitely enjoyed the discussion about of a lot of the cars. Obviously I don't think this thread is fuelling the absolutely offensive cost increase in the used car market, but it does help, and it certainly makes a flippers job easier.

As someone with a raging case of automotive ADHD, I love this thread. There have been so many cars posted on this thread that I would love to buy. There's always some debate about what constitutes a "good buy", some people don't have the same affinity for high performance German super sedans as others that post on the thread but hey Vive la difference! Great to have a thread that could have a V10 super sedan in one post and a vintage civic in the next post!
I wish we still lived in a world where a stockish 92 NSX was 30k but those days are gone.
So here is a 92 NSX with 203kms on ebay (located in Vancouver) for $50k CAD. Plenty of recent maintenance and at 203kms you can add mileage to it and not worry that much about losing value. I am starting to the think the price of new sports cars that few can afford is partially to blame for the crazy prices. Damned if I can afford a new NSX or any new Porsche. Even a Boxster is out of reach.

Not really a good buy for an NA6 IMO, a few mostly cosmetic mods (including a style bar ).
I just sold my supercharged '95 Miata for less than that. The fact that he's selling it for "something more reliable" what's the story? And who would use Jiffy lube to do routine maintenance? Not saying he has to do it himself but there are lots of indy mechanics I'd trust more than Jiffy Lube.
Not defending him since I don't even know the kid but from what I can gather from his posts on FB groups, he's a 16 year old kid without an N that got the car from a dealer. The $400 maintenance is literally just fluid changes, and he hasn't even really driven the car. Not a good buy by any means, especially since the history on it isn't well known.

Agreed. I remember trying to convince the wife to let me buy a clean NSX in this price range a decade or so ago and getting a hard no for a response as we were starting our family. Couldn't argue much at the time.
However.. in that same amount of time, gas has doubled, real estate quadrupled etc. so that'll be my argument if I ever find a clean example for a reasonable price inflation wise. Not holding my breath due to the amount of attention paid to the NSX market but I do know someone with a rich father-in-law who owns several NSX's + other exotics. I've asked him to relay a first right of refusal message and apparently the message got through. Not holding my breath though.. rich people are known for making more money, not generousity. My fingers are still crossed though lol

I remember when these came out, they were the ultimate anti-import car. The true Honda killer with 50+ hp more than an SiR civic right out of the box. Then guys started throwing big turbos on them and that's when I really started to like the SRT4.

Spoiler!
Cool find.
absolutely agree. I didn't like then when they came out (not the best looking) but they have proved themselves time and time again to be a reliable powerhouse. Too bad it has awful dodge build quality and interior. Good to strip and make into a drag car lol
'09 has the TSI engine used in the Mk6, no cam follower issues that occurred in the FSI engine in the older Mk5's. Not a lot of detail in the description and the all capslock text hurt my ears. It would need to be checked out but if it was clean this could be a pretty decent deal.
