Would really like to snap this up if it turns out to be a decent car. |
^^ chance of me buying it? zero. I have a buddy who's out of town right now who wants it. If it's good, I'll let him know and he can deal with the seller. He's ready to take it if it's decent. I don't need another one of these - they're dope AF, but I've had one. Are you lined up to see it JT? |
Supposed to go in for PPI early next week, do me a favour and tell your friend that it smells like a flood car and started on fire when the owner tried to boost it ;) If you don't mind, let me know how it looks. |

https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/ctd/6126051981.html not sure if good buy but curious if anyone dealt with lucky 8 auto before...? apparently a trade in but originally a velocity car. would not be considering if it wasnt for the sunroof + color combo |
^^ when I was there looking at a car, they were using a can of dulux paint to paint the paint chipped interior of a jdm slk. So you tell me. |

Not on Craigslist and not a car but still kind of cool. https://www.facebook.com/groups/8396...41096256021950 Quote:

Yep, they're shady AF. They do get in some interesting JDM cars but generally speaking I'd avoid them. As a general rule the used car dealers on Kingsway and King George Hwy are not the most reputable. Not saying you shouldn't buy that car (or any other car that floats your boat) there but if it were me, I'd for sure get an independent PPI on anything I was interested in at one of those dealers. literally just walked in the door from seeing it. yes - it's clean for it's age. dumb stuff like foggy headlights and some paint chips, but nothing bad. Couldn't drive it without plates but it's running as well as I could tell in a garage. I'd have bought it on the spot and taken my chances as I did on my last one if I was even remotely in the market for one. Interior was above average for it's age. Seats were excellent yes, I recommended that my buddy buy it, he's trying to do so from out of town as you are yes, the seller acknowledged that multiple parties were interested, and that he knows he's underpriced it. I don't think he'll go for a penny under asking. Said some Jason guy wants it. one of you two is going to get it - you're both pros, it will just come down to the deal I guess. Buddy wants it long term, tried to buy mine but the timing was wrong. I've got to slightly root for him. :ilied::ilied: |
https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/bnc/cto/6130843014.html 2008 Acura RDX Not too unreasonably priced given the mileage imo... but what I really find interesting is the fresh slice offer. Get $200/month if you purchase the vehicle and keep the wrap on? Anyone heard of something like this before? |

how do they verify the mileage? like do they have a GPS tracking or smth? or you just send a photo every month to get your cheque? lol what if I just put it on jackstands and make up the last 200KMs if i only drove 800 or smth.... i mean... would the $200 of premium gas pay for the 1000KM? basically you get to have gas money for free every month i guess? |
For a daily, I probably wouldn't care for $200 a month LOL |
|
If you need to rely on $200 a month driving that hideous car, you need to buy a cheaper car. |
id just drive around like a complete dickhead until they started paying me to take the wrap off |
