I have a feeling I know the original owner / builder of the car. He is an older gentleman that is meticulous with his work, and a tremendous amount of effort went into the GTR throughout his ownership of the car. And the GTR wasn't a garage or parade queen at all -- it saw action at the local autox and track events, and the car was properly and blazingly fast.

Kind of sad to see the car getting sold like this, but I hope there will be an appreciative new owner who would pick it up and drive it properly as it was intended.

Yes there was discussion about this NSX a few pages back. The owner ran it on ebay for a few rounds without it a sale.

Seems like a good buy so I wonder if something major is wrong with it.

It's a JDM car. They (over in Japan) don't drive anywhere nearly as much as we do here in N.America.

My 2004 TSX just hit 100k and its local, driven daily... Just not much. Look at cars for sale in the core of the city. There are many with low km... Doesnt exactly mean low km is a good thing though.

I think you guys are reading 120,000 kms. It has 12,350 kms.
