That's way too cheap. There has to be an issue with it; a quick search shows that a trade-in would yield anywhere from $24-27k.

I wouldn't say it's way too cheap, seems like a solid deal, don't think anything weird is going on. It's not as easy to sell private, no chance as a trade in ur getting more than 24k

Wondering how long will be needed to spend as much on maintenance/repair as to the price of the vehicle.

This looks very similar to another one that was for sale a few weeks back except it had big canards on the front bumper, seller at that point claimed brothers medical expenses as reason for sale..

why is the car located in such a small city/town in the interior of BC? Do rich people buy houses in grand forks? Lol I passed grand forks before, it looked like a ghost town

What makes you think people in small towns can't make a lot of money.

Jmac 07-31-2017 08:45 AM

I know nothing about Grand Forks but I know people from small towns who worked in the oil sands, made shit loads of money, and bought their dream cars while still living in their home town.

Smartest use of money? Perhaps not, but when the money was flowing in the oil sands, I know people who made far worse financial decisions than buying a 6-figure sports car.

tofu1413 07-31-2017 09:33 AM

boats, bikes, atvs...... list goes on

i remember when the Alberta economy collapsed. people financed everything there, even their TVs and Air con unit.

Well he looks like a genius now holding out for P car price hike of 2017 #neverforget

Half a mil for a GT2RS is a bargain considering there's another local one (with a fraction of the mileage) for sale at a cool million!

The "all black eerythang" makes me question the ownership of the NSX. Regardless, looks like its a fair price, and with that mileage you couldnt enjoy it and not worry about the normal everyday woes/

arent both overpriced? a quick glance @ rennlist shows some low mileage examples (less than 5000 miles) priced between 400-500k USD

edit: bargain for those rich ppl though, not us poor folk.. right? haha

Go look at the roads around Grand Forks on a map. I'm far from being a Porsche fan but if I had the kind of money to own a car like this I'd certainly be keeping it at my vacation home to enjoy on good roads, not keeping it in the GVRD so it can sit in traffic while I worry about some idiot crashing into it while texting, or it being hit and run every time I park it somewhere.

2004 BMW 325xi, automatic, 94k km, single family owned, $6999. Looks like a decent first car if you can get it for $5k.

Correct!
