$35K 997. US Car, one accident claim. 150K. Engine rebuilt in 2015.

I think this would make a great daily. Yeah, it's not mint, local, or an S, but seems like a great value.

I think this is the same 997 C2S posted a month ago. from $35k to $41.8k after paint the wheel black and illegal tint the front windowns.
It also comes with major accident history if anyone is interested.

Did he seriously pay $3,000 to have his intake walnut blasted? I'd like to see that receipt. That should be a $1k job at a dealer, I had mine done for like $400.

- Carbon clean up (walnut shell blasting/intake cleaning) ($3000)

It's still a pretty good deal regardless

If the seller has a receipt for the engine rebuild in 2015 this is a very good buy.

Hi guys, my dad asked me to help him find a short term lease take over (~6 months) because he has to work on a project that requires a lot of driving, and can't take the family car all the time as it is inconvenient. He's looking for SUV/minivan, if at all possible.

Anyone know of a good place to look besides Leasebusters or Craigslist?

Wonder if it has a full interior? Would make a killer racing simulator.

I suggested that. He doesn't want a cheap used car. Picky about what he wants.

Sometimes I just have to SMH and try my best. :rukidding:

Here's a couple, since most leases are 3 or 4 years, and you need 6 months, you're looking for a 2014 or 2015 vehicle.

8 months left, 2014 Lincoln MKZ - https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/pml/...258522691.html

9 months left, 2015 Civic SI - https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/...208729092.html

Of course, the thing that you are looking for, namely, end of lease is also the thing against you since your pop wants to put a lot of clicks on it. Over the lease limit mileage = $$.

If I were you, I'd encourage pop to buy a used low mileage SUV/Minivan and sell it after the six months.

Finally ... try this - LeaseBusters.com - Takeover my lease: GM Lease, Toyota Lease, BMW Lease, Honda Lease

FYI RE: 2015 Civic Si lease takeover, the guy is not motivated at all to transfer his lease. I tried to work something out with him for months now and I ended up purchasing another vehicle instead. He gives the run around about how busy he is and can't meet, then asks you to pay the transfer fee, which he claims to be over $1200.

Nice, cheap and reliable doesn't usually go together.

Thanks for the links, I saw those and he turned up his nose at the Lincoln and he doesn't want manual. Like I said, he's picky but he doesn't want to do the legwork himself and wants SUV/minivan to carry stuff in.

I tried to suggest the used vehicle method but he doesn't want to do that. So... FailFish

Yep, I totally agree. But to him, it goes in one ear and out the other. :rukidding:

dark0821 08-10-2017 05:34 PM

^ honestly that will be hard... you might be able to find some commercial leasing companies that can do 6 month leases... I am not 100% confident on that statement, but sometimes my installers (he does roofing) that he is just getting this truck for the summer season and returning it afterwords... which i am curious how that leasing works...

i know enterprise-rent-a-car and hertz does multi-month rentals... so i dunno...
