Did they armorall the engine bay?

I wouldn't want it without Navi, the touch screen is easy to replace, only 200 bucks anyway.

They were Ok. I prefer the early 80's models that were similar in design to the RWD Starlet

I have fond memories of a Silver early 80's Tercel I learnt to drive stick on. That car was fun and easy as heck to learn on!

Any idea if they are a decent car to own in general?

From what I hear, the engines blow up often. You just don't hear about it as often as Subarus

Spotted an old BMW featured at a dealer on my way home, looks mint. No idea what these things are worth, but guessing price is high.

Thats dream car material for the price of a used KIA.

I'm a bigger fan than a few others on here of aging German sport sedans......to the point of taking crap when I post up spicy V10 Audi S6's but even I wouldn't touch a B6 S4 without the timing chain service done.

Oh alright, yes I would but it would need to be so cheap that I could put $8K-$10K in the bank to be ready for when the engine went kaput.

It's not a question of if the tensioner guides will fail but when, and at 138km i would bet that they're on their way out.

Buddy's ad says "fun reliable car!" meaning the guides haven't failed on me yet but you dear buyer....YMMV.
