I'd rather have LGT wagon (manual), but I found those are much harder to come by.

Damn this one is kind of tempting, but it's the pre face lift model.

But then again these things are so hard to come by

It's probably average price? Definitely not a steal. I sold mine 4 years ago (identical to this one) for $10K.

But these are so rare these days, and it seems that anything performance + manual transmission has appreciated in price.

check for plugged intake manifold, they carbon up from the EGR system.

Cwift 10-23-2017 09:41 PM

Lol the white miata used to be my buddies, he sold it like a month ago, weird that it's being sold again cause he bought it for higher than his asking right now.
edit: looks like he took the hardtop and quick release + wheel after looking at the pics again lol

I had a 99.5 TDI Golf. The manifold plugged up. There were some electrical glitches as well. There is a relay under the dash that goes bad. You probably should visit tdiclub.com and register and do some lurking around. The fuel distribution system changed a couple times. You can get into the computer system and turn things nearly off, like the EGR. You can get upgrades for the software that will give another 20hp and 50 lbs of torque

i had an 03 jetta ... i hated water leaking into the interior cabin. i mean puddles of water due to clogged weather strips tubes..

$7995 for this SC430. I posted it on this thread before, but it looks like another price drop.

It has quite an "interesting" history full of damages but it wasnt written off. Local car. I kinda wanna just buy it for its v8.... and do some naughty naughty stuff to it.

https://s30.postimg.org/nhx4gfia9/IMG_1067.jpg
https://s30.postimg.org/ovorbqhjl/IMG_1066.jpg

look at all these accidents... but im sure if you wave some cash underneath this guy's nose you'll be able to walk away with this for dirt cheap. He had it listed since early summer.

tofu1413 10-24-2017 05:01 PM

all minor claims.

Rather see that instead of a "clean history" car and has unusual body work.

vitaminG 10-24-2017 05:22 PM

they must have been claiming every scratch. all but two claims are under a 1000 so likely just scratched paint. even the two bigger ones are $3500 which is fuckall. i dont really see how that gives you any justification to lowball

Cillu 10-24-2017 06:06 PM

Still sucks though, most of it is within a year and a bit.

westopher 10-24-2017 06:20 PM

Well 10k in body work is a lot wether it happened at once or a few times.

10k once = lots of damage repaired
10k over 5 claims, all small stuff without really any chance for structural

GS8 10-24-2017 08:34 PM

With all those flags, I think that dealership should replace the letters 'AA' with 'UN'

LP700-4 10-24-2017 08:42 PM

Clearly none of you have watched this yet :troll:

I get how it works, but it’s a negotiation point. The car probably has had every panel painted at a different time. Knowing ICBC shops, that means it’s probably 5 different shades, full of filler, etc.
I’m not saying it’s never going to track straight because of some massive crash, but it’s not going to be some cream puff.
I’m aware it’s an 8k car, but i bet it’s one you’d walk up to and go. “Woah, that’s bad.”
I had that experience a couple weeks ago.

JDMDreams 10-24-2017 10:29 PM

Hard to say but I've seen some decent cl pics then wtf in person

Got keyed twice in the last few months. Fast Track (ICBC Shop) was pretty solid for paint matching an 11 year old car. Maybe cause it was a black car lol
