Really???? Mine was a sport and 5-speed which is what you wanted in a fit! and all the maintenance was done lol

That gen fit sport was always hard to find here in Victoria. Heck I wanted one for a while and drove a red DX! Popular cars on the rock.

The Forester that was posted earlier, believed it's now sold. Posting deleted.

Forgot how bad amg depreciates. How bad are these cars? The later 6.2 supposed to be reliableish, they probably have air suspension issues too I'll assume

This has the newer 5.5 twin turbo. With just an ECU tune it makes over 600WHP/700WTQ. Suspension is more reliable than older Mercedes Airmatic.

This owner is asking less than trade-in value.

That's a great price.

Are they decent cars? Suspension looks low in the back, might view it when I'm back in town next week.

Seller says that they drive the car seasonally. If it's stored in the garage over the winter, the rear air suspension will sag on these cars and that is normal. If it sags in 8 hours then you have a problem.

These late m156 e63s are pretty sorted in terms of reliability. If any engine issues are coming up it's usually due to improper maintenance. Make sure the owner can provide service records to prove oil changes etc. were done.

Not sure if this is accurate, but perhaps you could clarify. The Canadian Black Book screenshot seems to say that this has the performance pack (P30?), is that true?

If so, that would make this rather rare, since most E63s that I've seen floating around don't have the P30 pack with the LSD and sportier suspension.

Still can't believe the non P30 cars don't have an LSD. Drove a W211 E63 in NYC and was bewildered about this.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the M156 head bolt issue only get fixed for 2012+ C63s?

Do you know anything about the MCT transmissions? Do they have any wear indicators for the clutches or require fluid replacement?

yup, in Saskatoon. Lot value for a 33' lot (with teardown house) on the west side of Vancouver is ~$3M. The most expensive residential listing on the MLS in Saskatoon is $2.9M. If one wants to live in Saskabush, that garage can be yours!

Never mind all of my blah, blah, blah about real estate, you're right, that is a seriously nice garage.

If you can get the vin number from the owner, you can run it through a vin decoder and find the engine serial number. If it's lower than serial number 569xx 60 060658 then the engine has the head bolt issue. Most 2011's are ok, just the early ones are affected.

The vin decoder will also tell you if it actually has the performance package.

I don't know too much about the MCT transmission but I know it should have had the fluid and filter replaced at around 65,000km. Check the service history for that.
