Yah, no ... I don't think so. That's kind of ridiculous! For that kind of money, there are other options:
2012 STI Hatch, 103K kms, $15,800

https://images.craigslist.org/00X0X_...4w_600x450.jpg

2011 STI Sedan, 130K kms, $16,500

why would anyone spend $20K for a 175k km STI which will need allot of work to keep running well when an almost brand new 16/17 STI are selling for $40K?

I know $20K is a big price gap, but allot of expensive unforseen things can go wrong on a 175k km car

Lol I wish the wagon was a 3.0.
Its a 323i

Oh well, fooled again. Did you flag one, it's been flagged for removal.

The STI hatch post, pretty convincing in terms of a fake post if it is:
2012 Subaru Sti drives great. Has 103km. But unfortunately coming close to the maintenance stage which is why the price is at $15800. Close to firm on the price. Wheels do not come with it. Will come with stock ones. Open to trades with something German or JDM only.

whitev70r 01-08-2018 09:49 PM

OK, how about this one in terms of a reasonably priced STi? It has BC plates, surely, this isn't fake (still better than that 2006 for $21,888.

2010 Subaru STI, 141K kms, $21K, and some mods.

Yup I believe both fake ads. In my search to find a nice Subaru I messaged both of them and received no reply back.

The GD STI is the coveted version and the newer gens, including the hatchback, don't hold that kind of desirable weight. GD's hold steady at high teens/low 20k range while the others seem to drop in price significantly from new.

Well said.
The price of entry for the GD was much higher too. My 04 was priced at just under $50k, while my 06' had a $48k sticker.

Not to mention the chassis changes that were done to cut manufacturing costs, combined with a change in suspension design made for a less desirable car in the later years.

Would you consider a LGT? Same motor in the FXT, EJ255.

2007 Legacy GT Limited Wagon - $7500 - 190xxx km

KMs are a little high for the price but comes with the following extras (and you can always negotiate):
Quote:

Michelin Pilot summer tires with 2 seasons (now in storage, please verify brand and condition!)
Summer tires on original alloy rims
Michelin X-Ice nearly new at 10/32
Winter tires on scuffed, well-used alloy rims (I bought them used)
Lowering springs, not installed
HID ballasts in unknown condition

If there's no chain noise and the compression is good, I'd hit it.

2006 Porsche Cayman S Coupe - $26800
https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/...440782665.html

I think this was posted a while back and the consensus seemed to be too high k's. My boss is looking at this car. Anyone know anything about it. He's fine with the k's as he feels it's still low, ~10-12k per year.
