higher km at 290k... but if runs good, replace the shocks and drive belt... and its a great driver.

Lol I actually drove this one. Drove pretty well for its KM. Idk if the owner that let me drive it is selling it or that one is a new owner. Since he was selling it for some time.

vitaminG 01-09-2018 12:40 PM

that civic isnt exactly a crazy deal, youre going to easily put 2k into it. then youre at 6500 for a 290k km.

you could buy this one for 7500 and its got new brakes and timing chain tensioner and 120k km less

2008 Honda Civic Si Sedan, no claims! - $7400 (Richmond)

They are not known for leaving money on the table. That Cayman seems under priced so I would suggest a fresh Carproof report and an independent inspection.

I bet the car is not actually 139,340 or 139,350 kms either... I bet it is over 140k and it just looks better to list the mileage at 139,XXX.

I think this was posted a while back and the consensus seemed to be too high k's. My boss is looking at this car. Anyone know anything about it. He's fine with the k's as he feels it's still low, ~10-12k per year.

Pretty much the same advice for any used car from a used lot.

Do your homework. Get an inspection at a reputable shop that ISN'T recommended by the dealership.

The blobeye variant is only from 04-05.
2003 is the Bugeye version.
06-07 is the hawkeye.

Yes, the blobeye in WRB is my fav too. I miss mine so much.

twitchyzero 01-09-2018 03:01 PM

haha blobeye, yeah I only knew of the bugeye and hawkeye nickname
can't remember if 03 was bugeye but now that you mentioned it, you're correct

the GD before hawkeye makes me nostalgic, if you had one in high school (geez $50k ride for a teenager) you were the envy among friends
now I'm thinking how good it would be without a hoodscoop and wing, would swapping a plain jane Impreza hood starve the EJ?

SSM_DC5 01-09-2018 03:50 PM

Someone say blobeye?

Been said before but they're shady as fuck.

I brought in car #1 for a PPI when I didn't know any better and they tried to snake the deal away from me by telling the seller he was selling too low and to sell it to them if I didn't bite.

Few years later, I sold them car #2 and they relisted it 3 weeks later with completely fraudulent claims. Claimed OEM Porsche conversion parts when they were aftermarket (huge price difference in Porsche land), claimed no mileage discrepancy when there was one on the Carfax, claimed it was a collector owned car with work done by a Calgary Porsche dealer (I'm not a collector, and the work was all done locally, in Richmond, by an independent). Obviously, all of the actual specs and history were disclosed to them by me prior to the sale so there was zero ambiguity.

They managed to sell it for 50% more than I sold it to them for, so good for them - but only due to the fact that they lied about everything... And that was a incredibly nice car at that. One can only imagine what they'd say with turds, of which they have a lot:

That $45k red 964 a few months back that was a stripped out trackwhore they claimed was 'collector' grade.

Or the white 997.1 GT3 they had for over a year that was cluster swapped and had it's DME wiped. This one went through 3 different dealers before it landed at their doorstep, back when these were the hottest ticket item.

Caveat emptor folks.

SkunkWorks 01-09-2018 06:02 PM

Oh and I almost forgot, the kicker: odometer had 80,4xx miles on it when I handed the keys over but they listed it with 79,500 miles.

Typical Kingsway dealer shit. :lol

BIC_BAWS 01-09-2018 06:03 PM

EDIT: NOT a good buy at all. 152,000 miles = 244xxx km. For a 13.5K blobeye wrx sti? Yeah not a good deal at all.

They actually listed it with 79,500 km, iirc. I was shocked.

E60 M5 - 20K - SMG

https://images.craigslist.org/00p0p_...vV_600x450.jpg

Quote:

Selling my 2006 BMW M5 In the last year or so of owning this vehicle I have done the following modifications:

DINAN Lowering springs
DINAN Dual cold air intakes
Custom exhaust
Rear tires changed to 305/35/19 Pirelli Pzero
AUX port installed
Upgraded LED angel eyes

Also, in the last few months I have done some maintenance which is:

Transmission replaced. The original transmission had a seized selector rod. I purchased the new transmission from the USA it came out of a 2009 low mileage M5 while the Transmission was out I replaced the following with Brand new OEM parts:
New clutch
New flywheel
New slave cylinder
New clutch position sensor

All 4 pads and rotors have less then 4000km

Throttle body actuators were taken out and shipped to the UK for rebuild. They now come with a lifetime warranty. This is one the most common issues on the S85 engine. Most people just replace the actuators with used ones but, this issue is so common that I could not take the risk.
I've bolded the parts that I believe make it a good buy, despite the rebuilt title.

Love this car... Can't keep it due to growing family and lack of space will consider trades(pick up trucks only)
Asking $19995 obo
This one is Clean title, ad says $19,995 but title says $21,995. Doesn't seem to have the same amount of maintenance done to it.

The rebuilt one has been on craigslist for a year and the second one a few months. Both priced too high and will continue sit for weeks to come.

What would be a good price for a e60 m5, smg, clean title? We all know e60 m5 in m/t is $$$$$
