While I hated the 6spd and preferred the DCT, I’d offer 22k, do the rod bearings and pick up a used supercharger kit. For under $30k you got yourself a reliable 500hp+ daily.

Wasn't this for sale a while ago?

TouringTeg 01-27-2018 08:58 PM

The R32 GTR has been for sale on CL since the summer at least. It also sold on bring a trailer and the buyer flaked.

underscore 01-27-2018 09:15 PM

That GTR seems fairly cheap considering what R32s sell for down south, but maybe the market has died down a bit.

The Celica Alltrac/Turbo 4WD definitely looks like something that would be a project, as much as I love them that ad would keep me cautious for a while after buying it. You could have a blast with it, just make sure you've got a second car and your BCAA is up to date lol.

Hopefully the respray on the sides / front is a better quality match than the leather work done on just the driver side bolster.

ehhhh, that is of course if you care about that stuff.

i think this is the same one with the the matte black wrap job and ugly wheels for sale a while back for 40.

underscore 01-28-2018 07:44 AM

Probably a decent price for a "drivers" condition NSX, but the mention of a "collection" sounds more like "flipper" to me.

Good buy / justifiable? Or too expensive?

Looks to be a VERY well maintained E39 m5

Way too expensive. The magic number would be between 20-30k imo. Personally 22k would be my buy price

Also for that nsx it has a crack on the dash :fuckthatshit:

GS8 01-28-2018 10:55 PM

From the M5 ad

Have you seem what 2003 M5's go for nowadays? 22k... lol... good luck man you might get one with 300,000kms on it for that price.

whitev70r 01-29-2018 06:42 AM

^M5, FWIW, it's got Alberta plates ... must say the dude has an interesting garage set up for all his BMW's.

tofu1413 01-29-2018 09:10 AM

a fair price will be in the 30s for that turn key M5.

(but i'd buy the E34 Alpina B10 bi turbo for that money.... or E34 M5 touring...)
