Any of these be good buys..maybe? The Laurel has been up for a while. Anyone know what's wrong with it, or is it just priced too high?

I know both of these owners. My friend has been trying to sell the Laurel for a while, personally I would love to have it as an extra car. I think it's taken a while as it's a really rare car, and there are very few if any here. He advertises as VIP but it's nooooot quite VIP, and with the 5 spd is more of a sporty sedan. But VIP rims. As far as I know it's a solid car.

And the Stagea, the owner is on here, I've spoken with him as I have a 99 Stagea RS4S as well. Personally I think his price is low, hence a good deal. It has a full Dolphin kit which some people might not like, and is a bit dated. I have the Dolphin sides and rear, but not front lip and grille. Also being on the island, your market is limited.

I love my Stagea: AWD RB25 Neo so plenty of power, a shit ton of cargo room, and being a Skyline wagon it has great respect from Skyline enthusiasts. Doesn't draw too much attention, except from other enthusiasts. I think someone should pick it up.

I just saw that ES250 ad too. What's odd is that if you google the number, the guys also selling it on Edmonton kijiji.

One of those things. Worth a lot as either a totally restored car, or a numbers matching survivor car that runs.

In it's current shape from the pics, I bet you'd have to dump at least another 30K into it and that's IF you can find the missing parts in the US or Canada.

I bet they bought it, started stripping it thinking they could restore the car and found out all the parts they needed were either very expensive or non-existent.

Though certainly not cheap, I would think $11,000 is a very fair price for a well-cared for E36 M3 in the current market, particularly with it being Dakar Yellow. Thoughts, Westopher?

Why does it look the correct pale yellow colour in some photos... and incorrect taxi cab/banana yellow in others?

I didn't notice the rebuilt status; shame.

I did notice the paint but I think it's just poor quality of the photos... the incorrect darker yellow shows where there is lower lighting, and the 20 in the window, which is similarly yellow, likewise is darker where there is lower lighting..

The guy is charging the "I'm an important member of the bmwccbc" tax, but the car looks great in person. I walked by it daily and it was a part of what made me decide to ditch the idea of an e46 and go e36 as he lived about 2 blocks from me. Car competed in the alcan5000 and did quite well. I'd consider it even as a rebuild if everything was documented very well, and it was a shade cheaper. Like slightly under 10k.

knight604 10-14-2014 11:09 PM

bmwccbc is stupidly proud owners i must say after meeting some ;p
