Same motor as the 300ZX?

While the price isn't great and the ad gave me glaucoma, I've always liked these. I just wish they were a bit quicker. Internet pegs its 0-60 time as 7.2 - 7.8 seconds. My current sedan hits it in 6.5.

I like fast four doors

:okay:

I have, for sale, my 1999 Toyota Altezza Z-Edition.

This car has been well maintained and I am the second owner. I imported it 2 years ago and it has served me well and is a joy to drive.
I recently imported a Forester, so I no longer need this vehicle.

The good:
- 5zigen header and cat back exhaust
- TRD shock and spring combo
- factory lsd
- aftermarket clutch of some type
- short throw shifter with flossy shift knob
- 6 speed transmission
- hid headlights
- advan model 5 wheels
- Burnout KD2 aero kit
- Recaro drivers seat
- TRD steering wheel
- double din head unit in Japanese, with Japanese GPS, which still thinks the car is in Japan somewhere

The bad:
- there is a tiny 1" crack in the corner of the rear bumper
- the windshield is cracked

cdizzle_996 02-11-2018 06:51 AM

Co workers car. I can vouch for its cleanliness and how well looked after it was.

While it's true that the car has the 300ZX motor, everything else is old-manish (the suspension, transmission, interior etc). It feels like your driving a powerful marshmallow (it's even shaped like one!).

The car is bone stock and drives excellent. I've performed the following maintenance items since my ownership in Summer 2017 (163,000km):
- Oil changed at 170,000 with MOTUL 8100 and OEM Honda filter.
- Front pads changed at 174,000km with HAWK HPS (No squeal) and WBR replacement rotors. Brake fluid flush done at the same time. Rear pads and rotors still have lots of life left.
- Brand new Continental winter tires installed at 170,000km. I have a set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season tires as well with 90% tread life which I might include in the sale.
- I've had the car raised and inspected during the recent brake service above and did not see any leaks of any sort. Everything is in great shape.

There are only a few minor things to note about the car and its mainly cosmetic:
- The car has a large dent on the driver rear quarter panel, this happened before I bought the car.
- Minor scratches and dings you'd find with a car of this mileage, nothing very serious.
- The clutch pedal does creak a bit when pressed. Engagement and shifts are very smooth however and no chatter.

That is a great deal, that will be a really nice DD for someone.

BIC_BAWS 02-13-2018 10:20 AM

Cheap on gas too! And since it's a vw, CEL is going to be a no-brainer on both the vw and the audi. Point goes to Jetta LOL

Also anyone know anything about this? Fake ad? Ad has no details whatsoever.

Vadar seats?

320icar 02-13-2018 12:07 PM

Price makes it seem real. But most owners who have an Estoril m3 on apex arc8 or whatever wheels would know better than to make an ad like that

tofu1413 02-13-2018 01:34 PM

pretty clean Black vaders.

The Producer 02-13-2018 03:11 PM

pretty "rare" too. most estoril cars were spec'd with grey interiors :heckno:

terrible ad - at least updated to 96 now

lowside67 02-13-2018 04:28 PM

That car has side markers which are only present on 96+ cars. In addition, I Was not aware Estoril was available on 95s. Very good chance that’s just a fake ad.

Decent .... 2007 GTI Fahrenheit, 166K kms, $7000. Only 150 in Canada. Some goodies ... boost gauge, spacers, H&R lowered, CAI. Depending on your negotiating skills, could go from decent to good deal.
